Touchstone are a scam. DO NOT DO IT They rush you to sign up and then book you on the onboarding induction meeting within two days and then push you to an email they send highlighting - immediate access!!!! DO NOT PRESS that button - the warnings are not prominent for such a financial commitment IF YOU CLICK for access to find out more information about what to do it INVALIDATES your statutory cooling off period. It’s a Contract cleverly disguised. Even if you do not manage to access beyond the link on the page they say it’s a signed contract because you click for access despite no access given …..…. It’s a con. Not for people who are not IT experts or the trusting naive people like me. They took my money and refused to give me a refund after just 4 days!!!!!
Disappointed - I had hoped to learn a lot of what I needed to know. Instead the focus was around buying a 15k course & case studies of people from said course. Yes, there was some useful information - mindset was great and the snippets of other information but it could have been done in 2 hours rather than 2 days.
Confidence building 121 with John Davidson today, reviewing costs and ROI for a flip project. Thanks for the advice and reassurances John :)

WARNING TO SUSCEPTIBLE MORONS! If you are susceptible enough to be conned into paying someone £15K just because of their pressure tactics then you may as well give up thinking you have a future in making money. No intelligent person on earth has made money by forking up their savings to some scam they clicked on instagram instead of investing it. There is no course on earth worth £15K. You know this! You will be forced to ask your friends for money - your poor friends with no money are supposed to help you finance your new venture. And you are expected to find mega rick morons that have hundreds of thousands in the bank that they haven’t worked out they could just have invested themselves, this is £15K worth of education. Go out and invest your money in a property right now, do not let these parasites take your investment from you. You can do it yourself without a £15K empty promise. The £99 course is just a massive advert for the £15K course, they blatantly spend 2 days telling you anyone who was successful paid them £15K. Please invest your £15K into property, I promise you won’t regret it. You will always regret wasting £15K on some online scammers that can only make money from uneducated morons. In 5 years you’ll be so happy you didn’t throw your money down the toilet.
Gordie should never have been allowed to speak, as he exposed the true nature of this scheme. His arrogance, rudeness, and pompous attitude were on full display when he openly admitted that the £99 course was essentially worthless. According to him, real progress could only be made by investing £15,000—an outrageous sum. He even mocked those who believed they had learned enough from the initial course to start investing, referring to them as "£99 millionaires." I was shocked and disgusted to hear him, comfortably speaking from his home in Dubai, telling a woman with only £15,000 to her name that she should hand it over to them. He falsely claimed she couldn’t secure a mortgage with that amount—an outright lie. There are properties in the North of England priced around £40,000, where a £10,000 deposit plus stamp duty of around £4,000 would be sufficient. It’s appalling that he would mislead someone into giving away their last £15,000. If she couldn’t get a mortgage with that sum, how would she be expected to do so with nothing left? This has all the hallmarks of a scam, and I truly hope that woman sees this before making a decision she may regret.
I've been in property/construction since my Uni days, so normally I smell this type of BS Get Rich Quick property schemes a mile off, also as I'm quite cynical. Still, I decided to have an open mind & attend one of the free Abi Hookway/Touchstone Education live webinars after seeing one their gazillion marketing ads on Insta & decided to give it a go. I initially attended a live webinar run by Abi Hookway, which was supposed to be 1h. After 1.5h & counting, I logged off as by then I was totally bored with what turned out to be a hard-sales exercise. The webinar had some interesting parts to it but was effectively a hook for the promotion of a "limited" number (147) of spaces on another 2-day £99 webinar (heavily discounted from £495, of course!!!) that was CPD certified, as they repeated time & time again. I signed up for this 2-day £99 webinar, also given she mentioned they gave a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee - if after the first day an attendee didn't want to continue with the second day, TE would refund the £99 cost, no questions asked. I was curious & still unsure whether this was a property scam or a genuine chance to learn something new in property, so I paid the £99 & attended the first webinar day - the invite was for 9.15-18.30, so two very long days. She co-hosts the webinar with a guy who apparently really does live in Dubai/Marbella, as he told the 400-odd attendees repeatedly, Gordon Dutfield. The owners of Touchstone Education, Paul Smith & Aniko Smith, are based in Liechtenstein or similar - another interesting detail. Lots of photos of the four of them in private jets/etc. At 08:19 on the first day of the course, I get a Whatsapp from an unknown number - it turned out to be some chap calling himself a "Success Executive", who couldn't wait to see me online at 09:15 & said that so he could serve me in the best possible way, what was I looking to get out of the course. This chap would message while the webinar was going on, which was pretty distracting - & would also message during comfort/lunch breaks. It felt honestly like being stalked, as during that day you didn't seem to get a break at all from the TE team. It felt like being brainwashed. It's quite an eye-opening experience also to read the Touchstone Education reviews on Trustpilot, Glassdoor & Reddit. They have a 4.6/5 scoring on Trustpilot, which at first glance is reassuring and initially gave me confidence that this was not your usual scam property course business. But if you dig just a tiny bit & read the 1/2/3 star reviews on Trustpilot in detail, look at the way the Touchstone social media team respond to negative reviews (very patronising and condescending), you'll find gold nuggets in there pretty quickly - various reviewers accuse Touchstone of fabricating the positive reviews (with some apparently literally copied/pasted & identical). All in all, the 2-day webinar was again a hard marketing sell opportunity to hook attendees onto yet another (£15,000!!) "Wealth Academy" course which would of course shower you in gold if you took action & decided to become one of the 1% of the population who are "exceptional" rather than continue being one of the 99% of "normal" people. Essentially, a pyramid scheme. One attendee asked Abi Hookway via the chat system - which was the only way for attendees to communicate with the presenters - how she managed to go from being a 31-year old single mum in £24K debt to being a £Millionaire 8 years later. The attendee pressed & asked her how she financed the course if she was in so much debt & had two children & a full-time job as a call centre manager. She finally responded that her brother loaned her half of the course cost, which back then was £20K, & she put the other half on a credit card. So essentially, Abi Hookway was encouraging people to get into even more debt to pay for the Wealth Academy £15K course, "as you have to take risks & actions to stop being one of the 99%". Quite a few attendees had already been so brainwashed that they were even apologizing on the chat for not being able to afford the course, as if they'd let her down. Psychological, emotional, manipulative blackmail at its very finest. By 16.00 on the first day, I'd had enough so I asked the "Success Executive" how to arrange a refund, who directed me to an e-mail address to request it & also asked if I didn't mind telling him what the issue was with the event. I ignored the question, given the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee they'd given mentioned there would be No Questions Asked, which wasn't actually true as they did ask questions. It took 9 calendar days for the £99K to be refunded. I've given them 2 stars because among the constant marketing/sales, there were some interesting bits. Steer well well clear - unreal that this type of manipulative marketing scam is not banned by regulations.
*SCAMMERS* Just been removed from session because I commented about sticking to the actual course rather than promoting Wealth academy for £14K ! O.M.G.
We had a very positive first 1-1 call with our coach Daniel Thomas. He went through a deal with us and gave us the confidence in knowing we weren't far off the figures we originally ran before our call. Daniel also gave us some useful little tricks and tips which has been really helpful when searching for properties and comparing like for likes. We are only at the start of our journey and have lots to work through and learn, but the courses so far have been invaluable. The Wealth Academy community provide some much support which really encourages you to achieve your goals. Totally worth the money and you also get access to the courses for life! We cant wait to see what the year ahead has in store for us! :)
It felt like the 2 days training were more to make us buy the entire course of 15k rather that training us on the different strategies. Everything showed was just to convince us to buy the fill course. Nothing practical, no sites or practical guidance.
This 2 day webinar was a very inspirational and motivational experience for me. Paul, Abi, Gordie and the rest of the team real gave me the final push I needed to take the first steps to changing my life. Can´t wait to see where myself an my family are this time next year. Sincere thanks to all those involved at Touchstone.
