Lisa was very efficient at booking the holiday we wanted. She promised to ring back with details and she did.

Our first Titan trip. The collection from home/return transport worked well, even though we didn't know the transport would be shared. This was not made clear on booking. The Hotel du Lac was clean and functional and not 4* in our opinion. The biggest let down was the food. We made it very clear on the booking, in the pre-trip WhatsApp group and on arrival that we are vegetarians. This appeared alien to the restaurant manager unfortunately. We ate out 3 nights as we couldn't face the pedestrian food. Italy is one of the best cuisines for non meat eaters but sadly Chef appeared to favour frozen veggie patties and tinned vegetables. Yuk. An oddity was having to order dinner at breakfast and always sit in the same place. Never experienced that before anywhere in the world. The Titan tour guide was very scatty and disorganised. She often changed group instructions/meet up points which confused people. Sadly I don't think she had ever been to the region before. She didn't know a great deal and whilst she was Italian, her command of English did not meet our expectations. On arrival at the airport, rather than a general welcome to the region and introduction to the tour, she spent the time reading from a folder telling us how much it costs to buy water at the hotel and on the bus. Each evening she would send a long cut and paste information message on WhatsApp giving details about the next day's trip. It would've been far better to have a knowledgeable guide who knows the area and who can speak about this face-to-face. Not impressed to be honest. On the day trip to Venice, she said on the bus 'well you will all know more about the place than me'?! That just about sums up the trip. She was however, kind and supportive to the elderly single passengers and provided chummy companionship. We weren't looking for that, we expected a first class Tour Manager who added value beyond the basics. We have just booked another trip later this year, a long haul trip to Africa, and we decided against Titan sorry.
I have just spoken to a marvellous man named Chandan, regarding my booking. He was extremely helpful and patient with me and talked my through all the stages to book my seat. I am extremely grateful for his help and his gentle manner.

Essence of Japan Tour 2025 This was an absolutely wonderful tour! From start to finish, we visited fascinating destinations which were thought provoking, intriguing and in many instances, places and experiences we would not have discovered for ourselves had we been independent travellers. Our group size was 14 and we were supported throughout the entire trip by our excellent tour manager, Sarah Nye who was very friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. This helped to ensure we were always where we needed to be and were well prepared for each of the many experiences. This was particularly helpful when we were travelling by bullet train. In addition to Sarah, we also had a full time Japanese guide so between the two of them, we gained an understanding of the significance of each attraction and the lives of Japanese people and their ancient and unique culture. I cannot speak highly enough of our tour, but to fully appreciate it, the traveller has to do their own research beforehand to ensure their proposed visit is undertaken at a time when the climate is suitable to their needs. Whilst not very physically demanding, they must also be aware of their own fitness levels and seek guidance from the travel company if advice is needed. Travellers need to be prepared for early starts in the morning but this was never a problem to us as there were always so many new things to look forward to each day. Initially, I thought this trip was quite expensive but with hindsight I believe it was real value for money given the quality of the accommodation and the variety of activities we undertook. For those who are hesitant, I would suggest they set aside their reservations and book this trip. We are well travelled, but I have to say this holiday proved to be one of our best ever! We will certainly be travelling with Titan Holidays again.
In the past, I have complained on several occasions about Titan's (Saga's) farcical approach to flight upgrades (and the ridiculous prices they quote). Well, someone has been listening - my last holiday booking online there were two flight options, Economy or Business, with clear pricing for each one. The price difference being quite close to the airlines difference in prices. Brilliant, no waiting for weeks for the flight team to come up with a ludicrous cost to upgrade. Even better, this wasn't a one-off, my current holiday the same options, Economy or Business. Plus, another improvement, seat selection. Previously, I was told, more than once, that I could book my preferred seat - but never could until check-in the day before. Now, 8 weeks before the holiday, I have received information with the itinerary regarding "Pre-Seating Information" about how to book my preferred seat - which I have done, small charge (or free with on-line check-in). So, 8 weeks to go without stressing about whether I can upgrade or worrying if I'm going to start my holiday wedged in a middle seat for 10 hours. Who ever is responsible for these changes - thank you. Customer retention strategy 10/10.
A lovely lady who made everything easy
Have used Titan for numerous long haul trips for a number of years which have all been excellent and so professionally managed. My last trip was to the Golden Triangle in India which was so much fun and excellent value for money. It also included two nights in a 5* hotel. In particular the early morning visit to the beautiful and etheral Taj Mahal and an accidental meeting with the queen of Jaipur were such unbelievable memory moments. A truly wonderful trip to a really vibrant and bonkers country. I have just booked their solo "Ultimate Turkey" for next year so counting the days on that one
Best of Kenya and Tanzania June/July 2025. Very enjoyable trip, full of experiences. Ideal number (16) and a friendly atmosphere. Drivers all knowledgeable and helpful. The tour leader Lennox is quite exceptional - warm, engaged, always helpful and competent under any circumstances - including ensuring our safety when protests were turning nasty. He teased us, informed us and looked after us like family, with a smile and a giggle. The accommodation was very good and the holiday gave us everything we wanted. We very much appteciated the pick-up service.
This is really a follow up review after my last for Titan Travel in June 2024. Then I awarded 3 stars because of a dreadful experience trying to book a holiday in India with an extension to Shimla. Now that I have been back home for some months I should update it with the actual experience. Have they earned more stars? No- they have earned less. Four reasons- 1) The hotel in Shimla was changed from the Oberoi (which we REALLY wanted to stay in) to the ITC Welcome just days before we left. The ITC is down a 2km single track off an already poor main road 10km out of Shimla. It is totally isolated and whilst a lovely hotel it would be impossible to simply walk into Shimla. There is no shuttle into town. Whilst the local rep was very helpful he was clearly embarrassed by our predicament and gave us another guide and car free of charge the next day. The Oberoi is an old colonial hotel in Shimla. This was a material change which Titan outright refused to change back. I would imagine because the contract with the ITC was binding and the customer mattered not at all. 2) Our hotel in Ranthambore was changed from the Regency to the Kothi with no notice whatever. We only knew when the coach pulled into the car park. 3) There was HUGE confusion over tipping with the brochure explaining that tour managers were tipped but guides were included. Our tour manager said that he had been downgraded to guide but still collected tips for everyone. 4) My wife is somewhat hard of hearing and despite trying to explain this to every guide we met they simply were not geared up to cope at all. We did get to wonderful places with a great group of fellow travellers but together with the original booking difficulties this holiday proved a bit of a trial.
Spoke to Annette who was very friendly and helpful. I was told lots of information about the holiday , price of flight upgrades etc. it’s always a pleasure to book with Titan which I’ve done many times. Their holidays don’t disappoint
On our Titan Malta trip we stayed at the one hotel for 7 nights which was awesome, and it was the Radisson Blu with fantastic pools and restaurants. The content of the tour was amazing about the history of Malta both recent and ancient. Gozo was a highlight and Malta is a very friendly destination and reasonable in cost for extras. Titan was a great choice to explore and experience Malta
Very good efficient service
In June 2025, we had the opportunity to explore the heart of America on Titan Travel’s Route 66 tour — a legendary road trip that exceeded all our expectations. As the only Australians among 39 fellow travellers from the UK, we were warmly welcomed into the group, thanks in no small part to our wonderful tour leader, Stephen Pritchard. Our adventure began in the vibrant city of Chicago, where we met the group and immediately hit the road, ready to experience the iconic "Mother Road." From that moment on, the tour ran like clockwork. Stephen’s meticulous organization and clear communication ensured a smooth, stress-free journey — no small feat given the distance covered and the packed itinerary. What truly elevated the experience was Stephen’s deep knowledge of Route 66 and its rich history. Having led this tour multiple times, he brought the route to life with fascinating stories and helpful insider tips. His restaurant and café recommendations were spot-on, saving us both time and guesswork when it came to meals. The tour itself was a perfect blend of historic charm and modern marvels. We visited a diverse mix of bustling cities, nostalgic towns, and quaint roadside stops — each with its own slice of Americana. Optional excursions, including helicopter rides over the Grand Canyon, a nostalgic visit to a 60s Diner, and a dazzling dinner show in Las Vegas, added even more magic to the journey. Each activity was thoughtfully arranged and executed with precision. Special mention must go to Joe, our driver, whose calm demeanour, expert driving, and friendly attitude made a lasting impression. Navigating crowded city streets and long open highways, Joe’s professionalism and good humour kept everyone relaxed and happy. In short, this Route 66 adventure was more than just a tour — it was a nostalgic, fun-filled road trip through the soul of the USA. Thanks to Titan Travel, Stephen, and Joe, we came away with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a deep appreciation for this historic highway.
The titan Quality has died !!! gone is the help at the airport , that was always such a help when checking in , especially when ones hearing is very poor . My room in Hotel L`Approdo lake Orta.was of a decent size ,and a very comfortable bed , the bath room was very dated , and the drain in the shower so slow I was in danger of flooding the room . The air con in the bedroom did not work ,and the temperature was over 30 degrees . This I reported after the first night , I was told sorry there was a problem, after the second night and another extremely hot sleepless one , I had to ask if they would please find me a fan ! consequently sleeping with the window open the rest of the week , I had masses of mosquito bites . The trip to Zermatt is rather long ,with only a very quick comfort stop ,not even time for a drink . I have had many holidays in the past with titan ,even taking my elderly parents never any complaints .This will be the last .
Amazing tour guide - exceptionally informative, organised and helpful. Incredible scenery - the tour plan prioritised time in nature.
Spoke to Chandan Shekhawat to establish availability and further details about the Magic of the Nile tour. He was patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We never felt rushed or pressured to make a quick decision. As a result we felt confident in booking with your company.
Recently returned from a road trip of Route 66 What an experience. Apart from the canceled flight just as we were about to board the plane by BA ( put on a AA flight the next day which was no problem) everything was fab. Steve Pritchard our tour manager was great from start to finish. Had a lot on his plate sorting the canceled and rebooked flights but he handled it calm and professionally. He and our driver Joe were great all through the journey. Cases always sorted and taken to our room. Steve gave some really good History and Knowledge talks on route of the Mother road and places through it. It was really great of Joe too, playing authentic music of the places we were about to travel through giving the route 66 feeling. So a big thank you to both Steve and Joe. A good crowd of people on the trip. The only downside was Vegas which we were shocked to see since being there 30 years ago. Its got very dirty looking. On Fremont street Girls very distastefully dressed everywhere you look. Not the place for children. I think Vegas is past its best. But enjoyed the whole experience of the tour and places and things we saw. Too many to mention. Now we can say got the Tee shirt (literally) Thanks for a Great trip. M&T Hill
We have just returned from an amazing trip to Canada. We packed so much in, I’m ready for another holiday now! We have travelled with Titan before and would definitely use again. I love the door to door service and our tour guide Ann Perry was amazing. Ann has the most amazing knowledge of the country, even down to knowing street names in the major cities. Her enthusiasm and energy is boundless. We had a few issues with coaches breaking down on the first part of our trip, but these were soon rectified and Ann kept us updated throughout and with the help of the driver, we soon had a reliable coach. These things happen and everyone remained in good spirits despite the issues. The only real negative to this trip was that there are no meals included. From our previous trip, we found that meals together help to bond the group. Even just breakfast would have been great. Perhaps something that can be looked in to for the future?
I had a great time in Guernsey for a week with the trip organized by Titan for Saga. Our rep Sarah was attentive and organized. The hotel was good and the food very nice. The activities were informative and achievable and fun. Guernsey is a lovely island. The group gelled well too. If restaurants and shopping is your thing, you'll most probably enjoy it. Or boat rides, history or island hopping too.
