What a pleasure to work with The Essex Loft Boarding Co. From my initial call from Stephan I really liked him, he came round to survey the next day and both my husband and I were impressed with him. As well as providing their primary service Stephan also sent me all the contact details needed to get our asbestos tanks removed. When Stuart came to fit the new hatch, ladder and boarding he was super-sonic, and did an amazing job. 1 month start to finish, if only all contractors were this good! No hesitation recommending this company.

The Essex loft did boarding in my loft , made a bigger hatch and cover the ceiling , it was a wasteful space , they did such an amazing job and with a reasonable price. They came did all the work in a day and clear all the old mess and left a beautiful useful loft for me . I will highly recommend them .

Having spoke to many loft “specialists” and getting some (in hindsight) ridiculous quotes I eventually contacted Craig and later one dealt with Steph. Both of these guys came are highly professional and detail oriented to naturally as they have the experience, they were identifying problems and offering effecting and cost effective solutions that will make the whole process smooth and efficient. From start to finish the guys were great and the did an excellent job, there whole team are super friendly and highly skilled and I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Craig and team for the excellent job well done!

From the quality and detailed surveying performed by Stephan to the beautifully installed boarding by Craig, everything went as good as it could. Stephan was a great help answering questions between suvery and installation and Craig made sure everything was completed to a high standard. The materials used are top quality and the boarding used is definitely the best I have experienced. Definitely recommending them .

Can’t praise their excellent work enough. Highly professional people and they did a high-quality job. They neatly protected the pathway and vaccuum the area after the works. Quality of boards are very good, they raise the floor so that your insulation won’t get damaged.

Sorted out the loft boarding for my Mum, was professional, speedy, and completed the work to a great standard.

Craig came to do a garage loft for me. Was a really nice friendly guy. He got on with the job in hand. The loft space was better than expected, was shown how to use a larger than normal ladder, and even made a rail at the top to make it safe for me an old lady to use. Was amazed at how quick he got it done and at a good price. Even cleaned up after. Would recommend to anyone wanting a loft boarded for storage.

Stephan came to price the job, did the best possible price which was clear as I had had many other more expensive quotes. Craig was an absolute perfectionist and we couldn’t be happier with the job. Great ideas in how to utilise the space and executed brilliantly. Couldn’t recommend enough.

They came when they said they would first to measure up then to do the job. Felt very safe with them, happy to leave Craig alone in the house as my husband was in hospital. Craig showed me photos and explained what he had done, he kindly asked if there was anything heavy I wanted carried upstairs ( we only moved in recently )he vacuumed the carpets and left everything spotless. Cannot praise this company enough!!!

Totally fabulous company - so glad we found them. Very refreshing to find a company which clearly cares about its customers and does not rip them off. The standard of the work was exceptionally high and we would not hesitate to recommend and use them again if the need arose. The loft looks amazing and Craig worked hard to produce a fabulous result and cleared out all the rubbish as well. Top notch guys.

Honestly had the best result and experience with these guys, from start to finish, if you can get a booking for your loft space you wont be disappointed! Am sharing this review because I’m genuinely glad I went ahead with TELB co. When it comes to my home I’m a self-confessed perfectionist, so it was important to have the right people for the job for a quality result without silly prices- I had all three boxes ticked! The bigger companies who quoted were way off the mark in price and weren’t as qualified or personable (focused on the “sale”and my mind didn’t feel at ease). It was therefore easy to spot that Stefan and Craig are authentic and really care about their craft. They helped me with bespoke solutions to get the finish I wanted, I asked for extra details with handles etc. at the top and nothing was a problem. Another company had told me they couldn’t fit a timber ladder because of the awkward entry space on my landing, but this was no issue for Stefan and Craig- they were kind about every question and request to ensure I was happy with the end result. Anyway I needn’t have worried because most important to note is that Craig is 100% the best in the loft boarding game with his specific experience and carpentry skills, he’s wonderfully fussy over his work! End result = amazingly neat & easily accessible extra space to keep my home spacious and clutter-free! Super grateful and highly recommend!

A great service from start to finish. Well priced and all work carried out to a high standard. Craig done a few little extras that made the loft even more usable. Would totally recommend everything about this company. If you need anything doing in your loft these are the guys to choose.
