The Play That Goes Wrong Reviews

The premise is clever and there were some genuinely funny moments. However, after the first act, some of the gags started to feel a bit samey. The actors were committed though, and the audience seemed to love it. Worth seeing if you enjoy physical comedy.

What a fantastic show! The timing was perfect and the actors really committed to the chaos. Had me laughing from start to finish. The way they handled the 'accidents' was brilliant - you could tell there was real skill behind all the mayhem.

Exactly what we needed after a stressful week! Pure escapism and lots of laughs. The actors were fantastic and really made you believe in their characters despite all the chaos. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to forget their troubles for a couple of hours.

Love the idea behind this show and there were definitely some laugh-out-loud moments. Some of the physical comedy worked better than others though. The second half seemed to drag a bit and not all the gags landed for me. Still enjoyable overall.

The concept is really smart and when it works, it works brilliantly. There were several moments where I was crying with laughter. However, some scenes went on a bit too long and lost momentum. With some editing, this could be absolutely outstanding.

Really enjoyed this show. The cast worked well together and there were plenty of genuine laughs throughout. A few moments where the pacing felt a bit off, but nothing major. Good value for money and a fun evening out with friends.

Brilliant show! Never seen anything quite like it before.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I found it a bit hit and miss. Some genuinely funny moments but also some that felt quite forced. The energy was good but the humor felt a bit one-note after a while.

What an incredible show! The amount of skill required to make everything appear to go so wrong is mind-blowing. Every actor was perfect in their role and the timing was absolutely spot-on. This is comedy gold - already planning to see it again!

Loved every minute of it. The choreography behind all the 'disasters' must have taken months to perfect.

The level of coordination required to make everything go 'wrong' so perfectly must be incredible. Every pratfall, every missed cue, every collapsing set piece was timed to perfection. The cast deserves huge credit for their energy and commitment throughout.

Really enjoyed this production. The concept is brilliant and the cast clearly put a lot of work into making the 'mistakes' look natural. Some moments felt a bit forced, but overall it was very entertaining. Would definitely recommend for a fun night out.
