I have asked for Talbots support for my house purchase. Jazmine and Simratnoor guided me with the process, we're very much available when needed and made the process absolutely stress free for me. Certainly recommended.

Preesha was a brilliant point of contact throughout the entire process of selling my parents house. TLDR: Avoid. They have done nothing for over 5 weeks on my case and are completely unresponsive. When I call them I just get passed around to people who don’t know my case and are completely unable to help me. I have now incurred significant additional costs as a result of their incompetence. I’ll report back on their complaints process once that has been resolved. I’m sure it will take months…

Amid what has been a rather hectic six months for me, the conveyancing services of Emily Sadler and Lauren Siviter, have been swift, clear and trouble-free. Their communications with me have been polite and friendly and I would recommend them to other house purchasers.

My case was handled by Preesha Raval – a very meticulous and thorough person, which is a great advantage. I was kept informed about the progress of my case throughout, everything went smoothly, on time, and very quickly. I was also told from the start how much I would need to pay for the service, so there were no hidden fees. I highly recommend them.

Our broker had recommended these solicitors to us because they were supposed to be punctual, fast, and professional. In reality, they made some major mistakes and caused us to lose money by delaying the exchange day by a full three weeks, even though everything was ready. They justified it with ridiculous excuses, and the cherry on top was asking for proof of address again the day before the exchange. It was embarrassing — I had to make a couple of calls to the managers to get things moving, and magically, we completed everything the following week. Now we’re left with just two weeks to carry out renovations instead of a month or more. Completely unacceptable given the price we paid.

Tori at talbots has been great in our house buying experience. She has always responded to emails promptly, she has took the time to explain when asked and was pivotal on moving in day with communicating to the sellers solicitors. I have found talbots reasonably priced, with great service and communication.

We started the process with Sean Knight in mid-March and have just exchanged in mid-June – around 13 weeks – and everything has gone really smoothly from start to finish. Patrick Addis and his Assistant Japjit Kang dealt with the sale and purchase of our property in a very efficient and professional manner. There were several delays and issues with the sale (none of our or Talbots doing) but Patrick and Japjit dealt with everything that came along calmly and efficiently. Patrick was diplomatic, pragmatic and calming when talking me through some of the issues created by third parties and he always answered my questions promptly; on the few occasions Patrick was otherwise engaged, Japjit was able to update and help me and was clearly au fait with the account. They both worked extremely hard in the background to bring everything to a successful conclusion and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. A great team.
