In Nov-23 our energy supplier invoiced (and directly debited) a figure that amounted to over four times our normal monthly energy bill.
Unexpectedly losing over 12K from available cash flow for a small company was a painful sting.
I sent an email to Taylor to advise her of our predicament, and within a couple of hours, she sent a well-crafted, strongly worded email to our energy suppliers, along with full HH data for the period in question i.e. proving without question that our supplier had made a massive error.
Taylor then pursued our complaint tirelessly and managed to quickly escalate the issue at the energy company to a full complaint i.e. ahead of their normal resolution time frame.
Four weeks later our next bill arrived, it was for a GBP amount equivalent to 5x our normal energy usage!
Taylor went into overdrive and between her and my own team's efforts, the matter was resolved.
