Great service & communication, excellent value
The parcel still hasn't come and I paid for next day delivery, through no fault of Sports Direct but of Evri. I haven't been offered a refund for the next day delivery, but I am still expecting the parcel.
No customer service telephone helpline. Automated chat bots just keep you on a loop of despair with no real human to help resolve a problem.
I ordered goods on-line as gifts. Generally the website has a decent search engine & filter functionality. Regular info on the progress of my order throughout. Goods arrived quickly with efficient and safe carrier service (Evri). One wrong item sent in error (a French not England bucket hat). I reported this to Customer Services, and was initially forced to use the Chatbot - which was poor. Once I got a human operator, things were swiftly & professionally handled by Syed my consultant. Stock was checked and a replacement order made - which impressively arrived within 48 hours. Sadly, the item was exactly the same as the one sent in error. I have worked out the bar code and product number (900682) seems to be mistaken, so staff at the distribution warehouse are guided by the wrong info assigned to the product and its description on the website that I ordered. There isn’t much a Customer Services consultant can do about that as its a logistics/business systems cataloguing failure. I could repeatedly request the correct item but the same mistaken item will always be dispatched. A retrospective glance at the customer reviews on this item shows a chronicle of discontent for the wrong item being sent - and clearly this is the reason for those. I wonder that Sports Direct Customer Service managers haven’t analysed the trend of customer complaints/comments and worked that one out?! Aside from this, my overall experience of all other items in a multi-piece order is great, goods were as described, swiftly and safely delivered, at excellent value for money. Other things to consider: at £4.99 flat fee I think postage costs would be high and uncompetitive compared to others if an order is for a single item. Additionally, for the first time I used the Sports Direct Personalised printing service for a top as part of my order - of course it takes a bit longer for personalised items to be dispatched - but I am happy, the top looks great. It is competitively priced and prints emojis too! In conclusion, coz of the cataloguing error which left me with 2 wrong items (as Syed waived fee on replacement item at least I only paid once) I am docking a star. I think that is fair because for everything else I am very pleased with the service. Syed in Customer Services was amazing but a goods cataloguing failure undermined his attempts to recover my issue. So Sports Direct, 4 out of 5 until you sort out the catalogue error and then maybe I can get the England badged bucket hat that I originally ordered.
Great company and the online shop is so much easier than going to the store. It has a much bigger selection in all sizes. The website is easy to use, so placing an order is a quick process. Emails are sent at appropriate times so you know when the order is confirmed , processed and shipped.

It would be 5 stars but delivery prices are too high and delivery services are too slow to come and last time I ordered half my order didn’t come
The assistant was very helpful and patient at the meadow hall branch of sports direct and the gait machine was brilliant helping me pick out a suitable running shoe and I was very happy. Unfortunately when I got home I saw that the same shoe from sports direct online was £30 cheaper at £135which I was surprised at I had no idea that the same shop marked prices so differently. I feel cheated really if I had seen them online from a different store it would be understandable, 165.49 was a big investment it doesn’t seem fair to me. The store was advertising reductions and I assumed that the prices would be the same 😣
Order came in a few days. I ordered 3 skorts to choose which one fitted the best. Love the one I choose. Easy to make a return.

Arrived within estimated time
Ordering quite easy but charges for picking up in store are The same as home delivery, rip-off! so had home delivery. Paid £4.99 for next day but did not arrive! Should have just gone to the local store they had them in stock and would have gotten the shoes when I need them without additional charges
Box is damaged and torn and this was meant to be a present. Very disappointed. I want to return it and get a full refund. Not in good enough condition to give as a gift- looks like it is second hand! Dreadful
One item out of two that I ordered was in the wrong colour. I believe this was deliberate knowing items so low in price are usually not returned. The wrong item I received was Fugly. I'll wear them around the house only.

Sports Direct should change the useless courier firm they use! 'Evri' are useless, the miscommunication regarding either delivery or returns, is annoying! On the delivery side, they send emails giving a date and time frame window, but don't show up! When returning an item, they don't collect on the day they state, or at the time they state!! In my opinion, sports direct should use a different delivery / pick-up firm, to enhance their performance to on-line customers! I just hope the refund goes okay following my item being returned!!
