I ordered the Soothing Home furniture pet covers for my couch in 2 colors.
Beautiful when I first put them on.
My dog spit up, just like a baby would and it went thru the cover onto the couch. I washed the cushion cover and the sofa cushion. I wrote to the company and asked if they could or were planning to make a thicker one at that time. The correspondence was great and helpful and courteous when we emailed. Someone wrote in about possible cat scratching the fabric and I didn’t think these would hold up to that.
But that very day I had washed them gentle and hung to dry. When I was putting them back on, one cushion cover had little holes in the corner. I sent them a picture. I received these covers in end of November and now it was mid May. I got a quick response that they would replace that cover as a one time deal bc I was way over the 90 day return policy. That really upset me.
So if they didnt give me a new one couch cushion wouldn’t match. I said all I do is sit on them to watch tv. I have no children nearby, no food in that room. But I have 4 Japanese chin dogs between 5-8 pounds and they sleep all day. They do not play. They are called cat like dogs. They don’t bark or dig. Great dogs but difficult to find. I sent them a picture of the dogs sitting with Santa and a picture of the tiny holes. I thought every time I put them on, the holes could get bigger bc I was stretching the fabric . Always washed the same way and they have never been in the dryer. They said they were replacing it but haven’t seen it yet. But it’s still early. I’m just wondering if they didn’t make this exception for me, what would be my next move? I am finding they do not protect my couch underneath their product and their product in my case was starting to fall apart. I had 2 sets in different colors so it wasn’t like one set was getting all the sitting on. That’s my review.
