Constantly logs me out and loses my progress

When it works, it's pretty decent, even the free version. The problem is that it doesn't ! It constantly logs me out, regardless of which browser I'm using (cache cleared, etc). I can be typing on the last question of a section and it pops up with the "You haven't logged in for a while." Sometimes barely an hour has passed! It doesn't save your progress, either, so clicking 'log in' will lose everything you've done up until then in that section - notes, working, thinking, answers, etc. It's incredibly frustrating and I've reported it a few times via the "Does this keep happening?" button, but I haven't heard anything back. I'm sorry, but it should save a state with your progress at the very least, so that when you log in again, you can carry on from the question you were on. For it not to do that is just poor programming / software design.

My son benefited hugely from it

My son benefited hugely from it, he said it really helped. The team , especially Olivia, were knowledgable, polite, friendly and very helpful. Can’t recommend them enough, thank you!

Good variety of resources

My son used Seneca Learning for GCSE revision and found it to be really useful. We upgraded to premium after he had used the basic package in school. He liked using the mini mocks and the fact there was a variety of options for revision resources. The customer service was also really good.

A
Easy to use

Easy to use, large selection of courses and very useful when the school uses it too!

Seneca underpinned most of my sons…

Seneca underpinned most of my sons revision. He finds it difficult to focus so the fast pacing and short bursts of revision this provides, focussing on parts of the curriculum he selected was perfect. We chose the premium subscription so we had access to mini mocks and extra learning. Customer service is excellent and timely too and when I forgot to cancel the subscriptions after his exams and it automatically renewed, it was no problem and was stopped and refunded when I got in touch. I will definitely use for my other child later this year.

If only all subscription software companies were as good as this.

My son's school recommended Seneca learning so we signed up to the premium service. I wasn't really sure what to expect but it's has been nothing short of a revelation for us. It's so rare when a service not only meets but surpasses your expectations, and that's exactly what Seneca Learning has done which is why I emailed them and am writing this review - i will be telling everyone I know about them. What stood out to me, as a parent, was the transparency and insights provided into my teen's learning progress. Being able to see what he had worked on and understanding his learning pace and challenges truly made a significant difference in how we approached revision at home. It felt like we were provided with a roadmap to the exam season, tailored specifically to our curriculum needs. Customer service was amazing - when we needed to link a personal account over to a school account that was no problem . Responsive, accommodating, and genuinely caring, their team showed us time and time again that they are willing to go above and beyond to ensure an optimal user experience. We're currently on a break from subscription services as we're in between exam periods until our next child will need it but we will be back - Seneca will be our go-to platform from the end of Year 9 to help our next son through GCSEs. If only all subscription software companies were as good as this, the world would be a better place.

A great Home Educating tool

I used it to help Home Educate my children through their GCSEs. It was great to get an extra bit of support but in a way that the students could navigate themselves. So it aids independent learning too. My children enjoyed the platform and felt a sense of achievement as they progressed through the courses.

Definitely recommend :)

As a disabled teenager struggling with mental health, I've had to take a lot of time out of school over the last few years. I first used seneca in year 11 while teaching myself my GCSEs and it helped me so much, I passed all of my subjects. I then kept using it for biology and psychology A levels and once again it was a massive help by consolidating my understanding of topics and helping me to revise, and I am on track to achieve grades to get into university in September :)

Seneca Learning for the Win.

I have pre-knowledge of Seneca as my wife is a teacher so I was aware of their good work, I was not prepared for just how good the material and test were and just how detailed the assistance was. I had the Premium package which I initially thought to be on the high side but given everything in the package and the support and self-belief it gave my daughter it was worth every penny and I will be re-visiting Seneca when my son gets old enough for his GCSE's as well. Great customer service and an easy-to-use website make this an all-around fantastic website and service to use, Highly Recommend.

A single point of reference for all subjects

Seneca has been fantastic for my daughter during her final GCSE year. With so many subjects, different exam boards and new topics being frequently introduced, it has given her a single point of bringing everything together and allowed her to revise efficiently. I would highly recommend!
