I purchased a piano in San Diego and had it shipped to Mexico. SDC Shipping expertly handled this sensitive moving job. Its office representatives were very professional, responsive, and well-informed. They exactly understood the logistics and all necessary requirements for having the piano clear Mexican customs. They were knowledgeable and cordial. Their drivers kept in touch with me during their journey. Everything worked out to my entire satisfaction. We chose SDC to move our family items back from California to the UK. We had about 40 boxes which we self packed. The pick up crew was very organized and detailed. Laurynas our contact at SDC was very responsive with any questions we had. Our boxes were picked up on 7th of June and didn’t leave Oakland port until September unfortunately. Once it was moving everything was very speedy. The ship arrived early October to the port, customs only took two days (not 5-10 as initially advised) and we got our boxes delivered to our home within days (again not the 5-10 as advised). I’m amazed and slightly surprised (since I work in supply chain) none of our belongings were missing or got damaged through the journey . Extremely pleased with the service!

As a senior-pro music producer I own an unreasonable number of guitars, keyboards, microphones, etc. moving from Baja Mexico (a free trade frontier zone) to Oaxaca on mainland Mexico required customs and complex import documentation. Another Mexican based moving company tried and failed to clear my items through customs for eight weeks before giving up and refunding my money. SDC took the challenge and found a solution. By things were handled carefully and delivered with minimal wear and tear at the quoted price. They will be my first call next time.

Fast and friendly response, very clear explanation of the process. I feared the moving day. I thought the container would not hold all my belongings, I has first and second priority furniture... but my fears did not materialize. After 2.5 hours, everything was out of the house, and after 1 hour and 45 minutes it was inside the container. Unbelievable!!!! 🤩 Very pleasant and professional movers. Highly recommended. Now I will worry about the arrival at my new home...
