⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Experience with SDC International Shipping! I recently relocated from Nashville, Tennessee to Lisbon, Portugal, and chose SDC International Shipping to handle my move with a 40’ full pack container — and I’m so glad I did! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely amazing. The SDC team was professional, responsive, and incredibly thorough. They handled everything from packing up my entire home to coordinating all the international logistics, customs, and delivery overseas. I didn’t have to worry about a thing — they truly took the stress out of a major international move. My belongings arrived in Lisbon safely, on time, and in perfect condition. The packing crew in Nashville was efficient and careful, and the communication throughout the entire process was top-notch. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re planning an international move and want a company you can fully trust, SDC International Shipping is the way to go. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

We recently moved back from Chicago to Luxembourg and Laurynas at SDC did an amazing job supporting us throughout. Not a single issue was encountered and all our belongings arrived back on time and safely. Would highly recommend both SDC and Laurynas if you are looking to move internationally.

Every aspects of the move was supported by excellent and well informed staff...from the inquiry (Holly), to the move (Luis and crew) to the shipping (Yvette). We had many unique issues to deal with such as needing storage States-side (no storage available where we are moving), needing to keep the car until we actually move, needing help with special antique items and a tight time-line to leave our property for the new owners. Each of these issues was dealt with professionally and creatively, solving every problem in a way that was good for us. This company deserves 10 stars!!!!!!!!!

I hired this company in January 2025 to pack and move my items from California to Canada. The initial quote was $4280 for 300 cf. When movers arrived on March 31, 2025, we went over what was to be packed and shipped. Throughout the process from 8 am - 5 pm, the lead mover contacted the company to say the items have exceeded the 300 cf. They continued packing but DID NOT tell me. It ended up being 500 cf. Once my items were sent to the warehouse, I received a call saying that my initial quote of $4280 is now $9,000. This is where all communication went downhill. It was suggested that I could remove items from the truck. I provided them with a list of what to remove. Apparently, they don’t know how to read. I discovered they were removing items that were not on my list. I phoned the company and they contacted the warehouse personnel telling them to put the boxes that were mistakenly taken off the truck and put back on the truck. I, myself, phoned the warehouse and spoke with one of the personnel expressing my concerns. His reply to me was, “it’s my fault that this move has become a nightmare because I refuse to pay the $9,000.” I also instructed the mover to leave the contents which was in an 8 drawer dresser. He said he would. He did not! I found out once I received the delivery in Canada. Items were stolen. Vintage hair jewelry, 2 oz silver bar, my late mother’s one carat diamond ring! This company in my opinion are thieves. They waited for me to be in Canada before the feuding began. I lost valuable heirloom pieces which can never be replaced. This whole scenario could have been avoided if the movers had told me the items exceeded the initial quote. Instead, they remained silent and kept packing. Great profit for the company because now they can hold your items hostage until you pay up! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

It was quite daunting for me to organise an overseas shipping, but SDC Shipping International made the process as smooth and stress free as possible. From the friendly and informative emails I received when I first inquired to the organisation of the paper work, and the zoom survey of my goods, everyone was professional, kind, reassuring, and spot-on with prompt communication. The movers were highly skilled, handling all my precious belongings with great care and packing them carefully and tightly into the container. Today I saw the container depart, but SDC Shipping has assigned a logistics person to me whom I can contact at anytime, tracking the shipment as I await arrival. A wonderful company - trustworthy, professional, fair prices, care and kindness! ! I couldn't recommend SDC Shipping more highly!!!

Cannot think of a worse experience. I was lied to the entire time throughout the entire process. They said that are container would get to our destination by the middle of February, it's now the middle of March and we still don't have our goods. Who were promise that we would not have to pay anything more than what we did initially, now they are saying we have to pay thousands more in order to have our container delivered to our home. Slimy sales tactics are clearly encouraged just to get the business.

If you are looking to ship internationally SDC International is the company should be your go to. The company has great customers for A-Z. Timothy Allan Toon was my advisor and he gave great customer service and we very prompt in coordinating getting my shipment costed out and putting the package together. Emily Potter was my liaison in coordinating the shipping, making sure that I had all to necessary documents and scheduling of my shipment. Great customer service. This is actually my second shipment with SDC. I also had a shipment back in 2018 and Emily was my liaison then. My shipments were door to door from USA to Austria. If you are looking for great service and peace of mind do consider SDC International for your shipment. Thank you Tim & Emily.
