Comfortable but wearing faster than expected
Love the comfort and initial performance, but the outsole is showing more wear than I'd expect after just 150 miles. Great for rocky terrain though.

These handle everything I throw at them - roots, rocks, steep climbs. The protection is excellent and I've never felt unstable. They do take some time to break in properly.

Excellent on technical single track and muddy conditions, but surprisingly slippery on wet rocks. The cushioning is comfortable for moderate distances but feels a bit firm for ultra-length runs. Good... See more

These shoes have been fantastic for technical trail running. The grip is outstanding on both wet and dry surfaces, and the cushioning feels just right for longer runs. Only minor complaint is they run slightly narrow, but overall very impressed with the durability after 200+ miles.
Quality construction and performs well on trails, but definitely order a half size up. The fit is quite snug even with thin socks.
Best trail shoes I've owned for technical descents. The confidence these give you on steep, loose terrain is amazing. They're not the lightest option out there, but the protection and grip more than make up for it.
Really good shoe overall with excellent build quality and aggressive tread pattern. The upper materials feel premium and the shoe handles technical terrain well. However, I found the toe box a bit cramped and had to size up half a size. Once I got the right fit, they've been great for mountain trails.
Expected better longevity from Salomon. The upper started showing wear after just two months of moderate use, and the sole feels less responsive than when new. Good initial performance but doesn't maintain it.
After 6 months of regular trail use, these are holding up exceptionally well. The lugs still look almost new and the upper shows minimal wear. Very happy with this purchase.
Perfect for the Pacific Northwest trails. The traction is incredible in mud and loose dirt.
Solid middle-of-the-road trail shoe. Does everything reasonably well but doesn't really excel in any particular area. The price point feels fair for what you get, though I was hoping for something more special given Salomon's reputation.
These have become my go-to shoes for weekend trail runs. The aggressive tread works perfectly on the loose, rocky terrain in my area, and they're comfortable enough for 10+ mile runs. Very satisfied with the purchase.
