Reviews On The Norwegian Breakaway Reviews

This was our first cruise and the Breakaway was perfect for getting our feet wet. The ship is large enough to have lots of activities but not so big that you get lost. Staff was patient with all our newbie questions and helped make the experience memorable. Already planning our next Norwegian cruise!

Had a decent time on the Breakaway but you can tell the ship is getting older. Some areas need updating and maintenance. The service was hit or miss - some staff were amazing while others seemed overwhelmed. Food was good but not exceptional. For the price point, it's still a solid choice.

Had a blast on the Breakaway but it's definitely a party ship. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing cruise, this might not be for you. The nightlife scene is fantastic and there's non-stop entertainment. Just be prepared for noise levels to stay high throughout most of the day and evening.

While the ship itself is nice and the entertainment is good, I was really let down by the food quality. Main dining room meals were bland and often lukewarm. Specialty restaurants were better but expensive for what you get. Service at dinner was also quite slow. The cruise was saved by great ports and excursions.

Just got back from a 7-day Caribbean cruise and had an absolutely fantastic time! The entertainment was top-notch, especially the Broadway-style shows. Food variety was impressive with something for everyone. Only minor complaint was that some of the specialty restaurants were overpriced, but the main dining room more than made up for it.

This ship has everything you need for a great family cruise! The kids loved the water slides and the teen club kept them entertained for hours. Adults had plenty to do too with the casino, bars, and live music. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun getaway.

Some aspects were great like the friendly crew and variety of dining options, but other parts were disappointing. The ship felt overcrowded most of the time and getting elevators was a nightmare during peak hours. WiFi was expensive and barely worked. The ports were beautiful though and shore excursions were well organized.

No formal nights and flexible dining times made this cruise so relaxing! Being able to dress casually and eat whenever we wanted was perfect. The ship layout is easy to navigate and there's always something happening. The only downside was that popular restaurants filled up quickly without reservations.

The Norwegian Breakaway exceeded most of my expectations. The stateroom was comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the trip. The pools and deck areas got quite crowded during sea days, which made it hard to find seating. Overall though, would definitely cruise with Norwegian again.

The shows on this ship are Broadway quality - Rock of Ages was incredible! Live music venues throughout the ship kept the energy high. Cabin was clean and comfortable with great ocean views.

From check-in to disembarkation, the service was smooth and professional. Our cabin steward went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The spa services were relaxing and reasonably priced. Buffet had great variety and quality. Only wish there were more quiet adult-only areas on deck.

Overall enjoyed our week on the Breakaway. The itinerary was well-planned and we loved all the ports. Ship amenities were good and there was plenty to keep us busy on sea days. Main issues were with housekeeping - towels weren't always replenished and room cleaning was inconsistent. Still a good value for the money.
