Usually, I always keep my membership going as I travel around a lot. But the current gym I am near was awful, you can never get on a machine, and work is being carried out so much of it is closed off (although I get that they are trying to improve it). The 1-star comes from me cancelling my membership but PureGym still taking my direct debit! Shocker that. Luckily there is a David Lloyd nearby.
Review of puregym PUTNEY. The Management at this branch win hands down. Salam Qureshi the Manager keeps on top of everything, responds to EVERY query (most dont) and goes above and beyond her duties. I would recommend visiting Pure Gym putney for the attention to detail & approachability of Salma. This makes all the difference to the daily visits that many of us members make. Long may she manage this branch!
I have sign in to join in November 2025 the London Kensal Rise branch due to open soon but not opened yet 2 months after joining and no message to tell me when it’s going to open.

I've been a member of many gyms in my time, but I can honestly say this has got to be one of the best. The gym is kitted out with all the latest equipment, the classes are excellent have a real good vibe to them. Sarah's classes are fantastic, I always look forward to them. It has a real easy atmosphere, so if you are worried that you may feel anxious then don't threat. All the staff are brilliant, friendly, very knowledgeable, and make you feel really welcome. I have met lot's of new friends by going to the classes so there's another added bonus. It's not just about working out for me, it's about meeting new people. I highly recommend Pure Bramley, well come Pure Team...you are all ace.
Wouldn't let me cancel my membership before renewal stating I needed 4 days

Quick enough to rip my daughter off and take £42 before she sets foot in the place when its £0 joining fee and only £21 per month. Trying to get hold of anyone to resolve this issue is a nightmare! Give me a gym with a telephone you can contact a human on any day. Do yourselves a favour and join somewhere else! Wish my daughter had!
