Potted Potter Reviews

These guys really understand what makes Harry Potter both beloved and ridiculous. The way they condense complex plotlines into quick gags while still respecting the source material is impressive. Would definitely see it again.

From the moment it started, this show had me giggling. The way they incorporate audience members and make fun of the more ridiculous plot points in the books is genius. The props and costumes are deliberately cheap which somehow makes it even funnier.

What an incredible show! The actors managed to condense all 7 Harry Potter books into 70 minutes of pure comedy gold. My kids were laughing the entire time and even I found myself cracking up at the clever references and physical comedy. The interactive elements kept everyone engaged throughout.

The performers work incredibly hard and deserve credit for their energy, but some of the humor felt forced to me. My teenager loved it though, so maybe it's more about what you're looking for. The venue was also quite warm which didn't help.

While the concept is brilliant and the performers are clearly skilled, trying to fit seven books into such a short timeframe means some of the humor feels rushed. The first half was stronger than the second half in my opinion. Still entertaining overall.

Everything I hoped it would be and more! The way they manage costume changes, character voices, and prop comedy with just two people is remarkable. My whole family was entertained from start to finish. Already planning to see it again next time they're in town.

Wasn't sure what to expect but ended up having a great time. The show pokes fun at Harry Potter without being mean-spirited about it. Some truly laugh-out-loud moments, especially when they tackle the later books.

Some parts had me laughing hard while others fell flat. The pacing issues become more noticeable in the second act when they're trying to cover so much ground. The performers' enthusiasm helps carry it through the weaker moments though.

Went with friends expecting something cheesy but was pleasantly surprised. The two-person cast is incredibly talented and their energy is infectious. Some jokes landed better than others, but overall it's a fun night out for Potter fans.

The concept is fun and the actors are committed, but I felt like it dragged in places despite being relatively short. Some of the audience participation felt awkward rather than funny. Kids seemed to enjoy it more than the adults in our group.

Perfect entertainment for the whole family. The show moves at breakneck speed and the audience participation bits had my 8-year-old in stitches. Definitely worth the ticket price.

Solid entertainment value for Potter fans. The physical comedy is well-executed and there are some genuinely clever moments. Not groundbreaking theater but definitely enjoyable for what it is.
