Norwegian Sun Ship Reviews

Norwegian Sun is a decent mid-range cruise option. The freestyle concept is nice but the ship feels older compared to newer vessels. Entertainment was good and ports were well-chosen. Service was professional but not particularly memorable. Fair value for the price point.

Some crew members went above and beyond while others seemed disinterested. The ship's layout was confusing at first but you get used to it. Balcony cabin was worth the upgrade for the ocean views. Food quality varied significantly between venues.

While the public areas were nice and staff was friendly, our interior cabin was quite small and felt cramped for two people. The air conditioning was noisy and made sleeping difficult. Food was decent but nothing extraordinary.

The staff made our 25th anniversary special with room decorations and champagne. Beautiful sunset dinners and romantic atmosphere throughout the ship. Highly recommend for couples!

The ship itself is showing its age - carpets were worn and some fixtures need updating. However, the crew made up for it with exceptional service. The buffet had good variety but the specialty restaurants were overpriced for what you get. Ports were beautiful and excursions were well organized.

Excellent service and beautiful ship. Food quality exceeded expectations.

While the ship has some wear and tear, the crew's attitude and service quality made this cruise special. Dining staff remembered our preferences and housekeeping was impeccable. The pool deck got crowded but plenty of other areas to relax. Would sail again primarily because of the outstanding service.

Good entertainment and friendly staff made this cruise enjoyable. The ship could use some updates but overall satisfied with the experience.

This was our first cruise and Norwegian Sun did not disappoint. The variety of dining options was impressive and the freestyle dining meant no rushing to formal dinners. Entertainment was professional and engaging. The spa services were relaxing though a bit pricey. Would recommend to first-time cruisers looking for a relaxed atmosphere.

Loved the laid-back atmosphere and no formal dress codes. Great for unwinding and enjoying ocean views.

Norwegian Sun provided everything we needed for a memorable family cruise. Kids loved the pool area and activities, while adults enjoyed the spa and casino. Freestyle cruising concept worked perfectly for our family's schedule. The only downside was long lines at embarkation, but smooth sailing after that!

Just returned from a 7-day Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Sun and overall had a wonderful time. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially in the dining rooms. The entertainment was top-notch with great shows every night. Only complaint was that our cabin felt a bit dated and the Wi-Fi was painfully slow. Would definitely cruise with Norwegian again though!
