Nike Pegasus Trail 5 Gtx Reviews

Perfect for Pacific Northwest trail running. The GTX membrane keeps everything dry without feeling too hot. Traction is reliable on slippery surfaces and the fit is true to size. Would definitely recommend for anyone dealing with frequent wet weather.

While the waterproofing works well, I found these shoes uncomfortably stiff compared to other trail runners I've used. The ride feels clunky and less responsive than I prefer. Might work better for others but not my style.

These shoes have been fantastic for my weekly trail runs. The GTX waterproofing really works - crossed several streams without any water getting in. Grip is solid on both wet rocks and muddy sections. Only minor complaint is they run slightly narrow, so I went up half a size.

Finally found a trail shoe that keeps my feet completely dry! The Gore-Tex works as advertised and the comfort level is high even after 10+ mile runs.

The outsole pattern provides outstanding traction on various surfaces. Rock plate does a good job protecting from sharp objects underfoot. Gore-Tex keeps feet dry without being overly warm. These have become my go-to shoes for technical trails.

Exactly what I needed for cold, wet trail conditions. Feet stay warm and dry even in snow and slush. The additional protection feels reassuring on technical descents. Highly recommend for year-round trail runners.

After 400+ miles these are still going strong. The waterproof membrane hasn't failed once and the outsole wear is minimal considering the rocky terrain I typically run. Comfort remains consistent and no issues with fit or hot spots.

Decent trail shoe overall. The waterproofing is reliable and cushioning feels good on longer runs. However, the toe box feels cramped and I've had some hot spots develop during longer sessions. Traction is adequate but nothing exceptional.

Solid trail shoe that handles most conditions well. Comfortable for medium distance runs and the waterproofing is reliable. Nothing groundbreaking but gets the job done consistently.

These are comfortable right out of the box with good arch support. The waterproofing is a nice touch for unpredictable weather. However, at this price point I expected better durability - already seeing some wear after just 200 miles.

The waterproof feature works great and I love the cushioning on downhills. However, they feel heavy compared to my previous trail shoes and the breathability could be better. Good for wet conditions but not ideal for hot weather running.

Been using these for about 6 months now and they've held up well. Great for technical trails and the waterproofing has saved me multiple times in wet conditions. The midsole cushioning strikes a nice balance between protection and ground feel. Durability seems good so far with minimal wear on the outsole.
