My Greek Teacher Reviews

Alexia is a wonderful teacher. I have been doing her conversation class- it has transformed my confidence in speaking Greek. She works so hard for us providing sample conversations tailored to our personal needs. She is kind, patient and has lots of great tricks for helping us to get hold of long difficult Greek words. The classes are very reasonably priced too.

Aliki is the best language teacher one can get. Patient, friendly, well-prepared, fun to work with and always the personal touch while educating you. Her enthusiasm is contagious and helps you to persevere while mastering the challenging Greek language. I wish child-me would have had teachers like her when growing up. I think I would have been able to learn more and faster at that time. Besides the regular lessons I also really enjoy the online-coffee sessions she organizes with a group of students. It is a great way to practice public speaking in Greek. I highly recommend My Greek Teacher!

Aliki is the best!! I am very, VERY pleased with Aliki as my Greek teacher! She is kind, patient, and very well skilled, she always has the right material for the right moment. Her lessons have the exact right level and balance: not TOO hard, not too easy, always motivating me in a relaxed way, and she always make sure you actually learn to SPEAK the new obtained material, so lots of practice. I couldn't wish for a better teacher, really!

Aliki ist eine sehr einfühlsame und smarte Lehrerin. Danke

Aliki is 10/10 in all aspects. She is kind, extremely patient and is always making herself available to help you learn. She is very professional and adjusts herself to your speed, week by week. I can see myself as her client for a long time to come. If you're in doubt, take an initial class to see for yourself. You'll see what I mean. And, I can guarantee that the energy she brings to that first class, she keeps it on and on.

Aliki is fantastic! I have been taking greek lessons with her for the last 6 months and I am excited. The lessons are so alive that the time actually flies without even noticing. She always finds interesting subjects to discuss and learn new words, funny expressions and even grammar, while building your general knowledge, all at the same time. I highly recommend her!

I have been studying greek for many years and I have had great experiences with different teachers, but Aliki is in a league of her own. Truly a remarkable educator and it is a pleasure to study with her help. She is very knowledgeable and very patient with me. She is very thorough and detailed when necessary. She knows the best ways to teach with interacted games and videos and will go over the material many times to help me.

It's a pleasure to highly recommend this website as it comes to learning Modern Greek with a very talented native Greek woman. I can not praise her enough for her natural hability to adapt her lessons to your need. First of all, I would like to tell that she's very flexible, and understand your goals in this language. She can change immediatly a prepared exercice to another one which fits your more. She can handle without any problem a beginner as a very experienced student. She also made the lessons for my daughter who was 12 and now 13 very funny. Important point : when you reach a very advanced level as I am now, she is very good at correcting your foreign pronunciation to make it appears more Greek and less artificial, which can only be achieved with a lot of practice. She is on time, doesn't mind repeating if necessary. She is a very professionnal experienced teacher, so don't hesitate and take her as your next Greek teacher online !
