Decent but not exceptional
They do the job for basic hiking needs. Comfort is adequate and they seem well-made, but nothing really stands out as special for the price. Would probably look at other options next time.

Really impressed with how light these feel compared to my old hiking boots. The mesh upper keeps my feet from getting too sweaty, and the cushioning is just right. They've held up well through creek crossings and rocky paths.
These have become my go-to shoes for anything under 10 miles. Great ankle support without being bulky, and the tread pattern works well on various surfaces. Highly recommend for anyone getting into hiking.
The Vibram sole provides amazing traction on rocky terrain and the shoe breathes well during hot weather hikes. My concern is the upper material seems to be wearing faster than my previous Merrell shoes. Still recommend them but maybe not for heavy daily use.
Used these for about 6 months of regular hiking. Good traction and breathability, though the toe area shows more wear than expected for the price point.
The shoes themselves are solid - good traction, comfortable fit, and they handle muddy trails well. Unfortunately, when I had a question about warranty coverage, the customer service response was slow and not very helpful. The product is good but the support could be better.
These shoes have been fantastic for day hikes and trail walking. The grip is excellent on both wet and dry surfaces, and they're surprisingly comfortable right out of the box. Only minor complaint is they run slightly narrow, so might want to size up if you have wide feet.
Expected more from the Merrell brand. The sole started separating after only 4 months of moderate use. Comfortable while they lasted, but not worth it if they fall apart this quickly.
Finally found a hiking shoe that doesn't pinch my wide feet! The toe box is roomy and the overall fit is comfortable for long distances. Only wish they came in more color options.
For the price point, these deliver solid performance. Not the most durable shoe I've owned, but comfortable enough for regular use and the traction is reliable on most terrain types.
Exactly what I needed for light trail hiking and walking the dog. Comfortable and supportive.
Love the lightweight feel and the cushioning is great for long walks. However, had to return my first pair because they ran small. Once I got the right size, they've been perfect for my weekend adventures.
