Happy to say this company very professional and they completed the resistration of the new tenant in less than 10 days

Ofgem launched an investigation into Maxen Power Supply Limited about its fair treatment of businesses and matters relating to energy theft. I do not recommend this company based on my own negative experience.

Maxem power broken into my property I have received call from my tenants, 2 man wan came into my property . He asked who I said I didn’t know as no one at home and I was left home 2 hours and door was lock. I was back home immediately and they left the property but I have seen guy driving small private car with uniform with power supply came out from my property. When I checked my property, this 2 guys was open bedroom door, all kitchen door and toilet and broke my toilet floor. They has told my tenant to pay the outstanding bills for £4000 but I have only owe £2000 and intend to pay this Fri. They have also sent someone here to disconnect the electricity supply without warrant. But they could not came in. I have done the payment for them on November for £1950 that left over £950 to pay on December. When the December bills came, this payment I have done was not allocated onto my account. It was only allocated £1095, then I sent email to ask about this bills and no reply. After 10 days they sent their staff broken into our property and damaged our property. I then call them, the manager told me they have the right to broken into my property because first attempt was fail. Second time they can broken into our property. On the first attempt, I have make payment to them for £1950. I have report this to police and send the CCTV footage to police. They said they have warrant but could not show us. We have 6 months old baby leave here. If they disconnect without warrant I will take them to court and I have pay my bills. When I call the manager, he requests me to pay £5100 that my bills only £2000 they charge £1000 to broken into my property plus fine added to my bills. All their reviews is fade. I have never seen any energy company can broken into your house and added charge to my bills. It is so difficult time, if they kept added extra onto bills left us no choice for them to cut the power and we will call police and council as we have baby here suffer with. We have pay the bills, we didn’t not pay the pay. Every 6 week they sent their staff here and added the fine n extra. How we effort to pay. This is scam company If I can post photo to proof I would . All door and bedroom left open, like gangs went into your house and walk out from your house plus charges £1000 to you

This is a scam company. Because my English is not very good, I mistakenly signed a 3-year contract with them for my business. In the first month, for only 11 days, they charged me nearly £1,300 in June — during summer — even though I hardly used any gas at all. In the following months, they continued to add unreasonable extra charges. I realised they are scamming customers, but I cannot leave because my contract has not ended yet. I’m sharing this to warn others — please check very carefully before signing anything, and don’t make the same mistake I did.

Quick and great response to my query and request for emailing my backdated invoices. Very prompt service and received all invoices immediately. Account Manager was very polite and accommodating.

I would not even give Maxen Power one star. They are basically harassing our company telling lies that OFGEM have told them to contact us. I have told them not to call us at least 5 times in the last 2 weeks, but they keep calling under different guises - the latest was they were calling from our current supplier. This is pure harassment and needs to stop.
