Go anywhere else..

Go anywhere else... Had Mailchimp as free account, used very little. When my use ramped up beyond the free limits, I upgraded to"Essentials" and did not know there would be no campaign statistics. I need to pay more to see my campaign results in full. They give you a few nuggets of info, but full campaign results require more money. So, if I upgrade to "Standard" they'll surely push for another upgrade by withholding valuable info...until you pay. This is a pattern with all online companies; squeeze and squeeze the customer for more and more money until he reaches the maximum or leaves. Sad, it was easy to use, but MailChimp has become abusive in the extreme. Apparently, I'm not the only one w/ that opinion.

MailChimp is a Gamechanger

This website is so easy to use and there are so many things I need to take advantage of that was introduced in the onboarding interactive call they provide. I will be taking another one to really hammer down all the amazing integration features Mailchimp provides

The most disappointing online service

When I started using Mailchimp, I was excited to make an email list. It was not very easy to set up and not very easy to integrate with my website. But worst of all: right before Christmas they changed the free limit for subscribers from 500 to 250 without any prior notice. I think it's ridiculous. You can't really justify their pricing for lists of this size (250-500). This number also includes all the unsubscribed people too. I couldn't send holiday greetings to my subscribers, without removing people from my list. This was also disappointing. Besides that, they also keep removing features, which is quite disappointing. So I've decided: time will soon come, when I will need to pay for a newsletter platform - and it won't be Mailchimp.

Already second time I am pressured to…

Already second time I am pressured to upgrade by restricting my account even though I have not reached the limits of my free account. 1st time I waited 1 day and it was somehow fine. Very,very disappointing. If you are a small scale business go somewhere else.

Debited without permission

Cancelled subscription after free trial, they continued to debit my credit for several months and when I complained they said somebody else had used my card and I had to contact my bank for a refund...onbviously a total mistruth and they refused to refund me

40 minutes of my life I'll never get back

I just spent > 40 minutes trying to get my email newsletter to send. Same thing last week. Report shows all zeros. Tech wants ascreenshot of the all zeros. Screencast, Word doc, and a buggy file transfer portal. No instructions on how to upload. I asked for supervisor or upper level engineer. Refused. So after 40 minutes the tech tells me we can now start troubleshooting. Now that he sees the ALL ZEROS. No help. No resolution. Time to shop again for an email company. I would avoid the Chimp unless you have a lot of time to waste for no help.

I returned to Mailchimp with the same…

I returned to Mailchimp with the same small, legitimate customer list we previously used on the platform. Their automated system blocked the account, and despite a full manual review by a support agent, they still refused to reinstate it. This makes Mailchimp completely impractical for normal business use, especially during a rebrand or platform change. We’ve since moved to another provider.
