WOW!! First time I have used this company for pet insurance. I submitted a claim via my vet expecting a long wait and the usual excuses for not paying out. On the contrary I am so impressed with this company. I received a message yesterday stating that they had received my claim and today I get another message to confirm a cheque is on its way to me. I am absolutely delighted and relieved too. The previous insurance company I had used in the past delayed reimbursing me for over 6 months and only finally paid out after the insurance ombudsman had to get involved and forced them to pay out with interest. Thank you so much LV for your excellent and efficient customer service. I would thoroughly recommend this company to other pet owners.

I am beyond frustrated with LV insurance. It is absolutely impossible to speak to a real person. I’ve tried calling multiple times, including the number specifically given for accidents and breakdowns (0330 678 7111), selecting the “broken on the road” option, and still no human ever comes on the phone. Every time, I am just left endlessly on hold. They are quick to take your money, but when you actually need help, the service is non-existent. For an insurance company, this is completely unacceptable. If you value your time and peace of mind, stay away from LV.

Price renewal from LV for house contents insurance was unacceptable but I was able to go online with them and renew at half the price. Very happy.
