We had grant work carried out by LMF Energy Services, including dry lining insulation, heat pump, solar panels, including changing radiators, upgarding fuseboard, fitting hgh pressure hot water cylinder etc.
I was really impressed by this company.. the communication, the workmanship, the pleasant and co-operative staff. I can wholeheartedly recommend them (rare nowadays!!) If you are considering LMF and would like to view their work on my place then I'm fine with that (LMF job ref was ECO4-2235)
From the very beginning to speaking to the girls on the phone to the men completing the work, this was a great experience.
Every team who came to the property were respectful, hard working and approachable.
The core LMF team worked none stop, they left the house clean and tidy and we're very conscientious. Decent men and lads who were all very friendly and polite. Thank you very much
Arrived when arranged. Electrian excellent and very clean finish left. Installers very efficient and professional. Fixed loose tiles while they were installing. Would recommend.
Start of install took longer than expected about a month behind. Battery needed sorting Three times before working.But now working well will be buying second Battery as very efficient.
The guys couldn’t have been more competent, tidy or polite. They explained what they were doing carefully so we understood what was going on at each stage of the procedure. They left the house tidy after each day. They were friendly and personable so my disabled mum and I felt comfortable having the guys around for those few days. So our experience with LMF was very good and I would very much recommend them 🙏😊
We had 8 solar panels and 2.4 storage battery installed. The scaffolding company just turned up without any notice and put up scaffolding, a few days later solar panels were installed on roof. A week later the electrician installed 3 inverters and storage battery.
There were a few installations issues ie 1) system wouldn’t work due to solar some panels were not connected. 2) the battery wasn’t connected properly ie CT port was connected to the grid instead of solar panels. 3) Solis software system changed to hybrid solar panel system which is different to the one we had installed. We also raised a system issue ticket with solis euservice to help solve battery and software issues. 4) Scaffolding was still up 2 weeks after installation completion and it took several communication emails to finally get it taken down. 5) Battery inverter alarm warning failed 5 times within hour due to comm/OV-VBatt-H failure. 6) Since installation completed we have experienced at least three power surges between 3am / 4am whereby the grid filled up the storage battery. We don’t think this should be happening. So we are now going to monitor this ie take battery reading before midnight and first thing in the morning. This should then provide evidence that this power surge is happens from time to time. We also feel the communication wasn’t great ie took several communication emails between parties in order to get issues sorted.
As of now, we are waiting on final information pack so we can claim exporting electricity back to the grid.
Overall service provided by LMF was patchy.
Great company installing the solar panels and very apologetic when the scaffolding company broke a section of the conservatory roof. LMF we’re very quick to fix the section and kept me updated. Thank you
