Really pleased

We had grant work carried out by LMF Energy Services, including dry lining insulation, heat pump, solar panels, including changing radiators, upgarding fuseboard, fitting hgh pressure hot water cylinder etc. I was really impressed by this company.. the communication, the workmanship, the pleasant and co-operative staff. I can wholeheartedly recommend them (rare nowadays!!) If you are considering LMF and would like to view their work on my place then I'm fine with that (LMF job ref was ECO4-2235)

Absolutely fantastic

From the very beginning to speaking to the girls on the phone to the men completing the work, this was a great experience. Every team who came to the property were respectful, hard working and approachable. The core LMF team worked none stop, they left the house clean and tidy and we're very conscientious. Decent men and lads who were all very friendly and polite. Thank you very much

Great team of professionals

Had a few issues with the heat pump - to no fault of LMF - new design issues! However the team have been absolutely amazing in maintaining communication and have been quick to send trades personel at short notice. Given the huge work load that they’ve currently got with a surge in energy grants I think you’re all doing an wonderful job!

The work he did on my solar panels was good but you lack in communication skills with your customers I didn't have a clue when the scaffolding were come and I didn't have a clue in when workmen we're coming you just rocked up I'd come off a night shift and I was going back onto a night shift so I didn't even get to sleep before returning to work later that day for another night shift

Communication and Project management not good.

All the tradesmen worked hard and were friendly and polite. What I was disappointed with was a lack of overall project management and difficulty finding people to talk to at Lmfs to get updates and resolve issues.

All trades personnel where professional polite and respected my property. There were a few things that could have been a bit better but very happy with the work. I will need to get a small skip to remove the rubbish but apart from that great job

part way through installation....

part way through installation..... now into 2nd lot of installersfor heat pump..... neither can install system as specified and provided by LMF. LMF now coming up with mad ideas to install hot water tank in a shed in the garden which we can't accept! Will the bosses make a site visit to sort this out? NO! if zero stars were possible they would have zero. Based on previous site visits and the willingness of your managers to even to respond to us we expect a senior person to visit us on monday. We are also now talking to National Grid about the solar panel issue we have as we are only allowed to get 3680W from 10000W of panel and may not even be able to charge the batteries you have sold to us.

Work to date.

To date, all tradesmen/surveyors, professionals and telephone advisors have all been friendly, professional, respectful of the property and knowledgeable. All work diligently and efficiently yet have time for friendly banter and an update on the work when requested. We still have a lot of work to complete and hope future tradesmen are as great as the team we currently have working here. Ian and Linus are currently here doing the internal insulation and are great. Cameron the electrician was also efficient.

The workmen were polite ,cleaned up after all work was completed. They also informed us what time they would be here & what time they would finish. Thank you to Lee, Jay & Luke. Unfortunately I do not have the names of the guys who fitted the solar panels but thank you to them as well. Good Job!

This would have been a 5* review as the tradesmen were professional when they were on the job. Unfortunately the company have left snagging unfinished despite several attempts to contact the head office. We still have holes in the attic walls, a leaking radiator in the kitchen and still no codes for the solar installation 4 months after completion ( despite chasing it many times ). I have tried contacting Lisa Foran a couple of times but have had no response 3 weeks on and still not resolved and nobody returning calls

I would not recommend LMF Energy…

I would not recommend LMF Energy Services. We have had 12 weeks of disruption resulting in having to move out because of the mess caused. Workmen turning up without notice or not at all. 4 to 5 week job we were told has taken 12 weeks. 10 weeks without hot water and heating & 6 weeks board and plaster which should have been 2 weeks max. After the scaffolding and the solar team not turning up to start, we eventually got under way only for the scaffolding to be in our garden for 3 weeks. We ending up calling the company to remove it. The skip was left in the driveway which was then unusable for 6 weeks because no one had measured the space previously. We also had to call the skip company to get it removed! Damage has been caused to our house including floors, walls and holes in ceilings. I was having to clean up every evening so our dogs didn't step on nails and screws. In the end we moved out for 4 days because of the mess and having to go around the outside of our property to gain access to the kitchen and bathroom. We have had to fight and chase for workmen to come back to fix things. The light in the bathroom was left loose and live so we had to fix this as it fell out the ceiling! We knew this would be intrusive but it really has been beyond belief and the stress that it has caused. We were told that the compensation was given to sort out problems! No!!this is given to redecorate not to fix shoddy work and LMF should be replacing skirting boards and windowsills if they remove them. If it was up to us they would not be paid for the work that has been done. I could project manage it better myself of which I have to a point. Our only saving grace was Toni from the office who managed to get things moving along once she was assigned to us otherwise we'd be nowhere near finished. Huge lack of communication between to site and office teams made this process so much harder.

Rural Energy Grant and LMF

From our initial enquiry with the Rural Energy Grant Org through to almost having the work completed I have been very impressed with the level of communication and quality of work carried out by each of the teams, from the scaffolders, electricians, solar installers, Air Source Heat pump, heating installers as well as surveyors all overseen and managed by LMF. Any issues were quickly identified and addressed professionally. Special mentions for Sarah Dayus at Rural Energy Grants and Archie Dickens at LMF. A Five Star rating from me πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸ‘
