I think it's safe to say this company was an exit scam. Multiple people report suspicious account closures by one person, "Colin." I fortunately did not deposit any money into my Lance account when it still existed, but others have not been so lucky and have gotten scammed out of thousands of dollars. I tore up my Lance card about a week ago. The app no longer exists on the AppStore, their Instagram has been abandoned since 2022 and their website is similarly dead. This company should be investigated.
Lance has sent me a check but I couldn't get it cashed and that's not right I've messaged them over and over again because I took the check to ace check cashing here in Lumberton NC and they said they can't verify it so I messaged them to call them and verify it so I can cash it and get my money my messages is ignored
I've had the account open for 2 years and only started using it recently. I had one single transaction and they closed my account. Now I have $35.52 that I cannot access. And they will not let me transfer it out. This bank is a scam 100%. Avoid

Lance closed my account for no reason. I tried to transfer funds and it never transferred. I contacted support team and for hours no response. Late in the evening I get an email that my account is closed and it is a irreversible decision. very weird to say the least! If you have a Business take your Money else where. This company isn't reliable and don't offer any perks. Customer support is non-existent . You can have payroll going an they randomly close your account.if I could give this a ZERO I would. this is a honest review! 0/0

It has been three months since my account was closed. Customer service said the check was sent, but I haven't received anything. Now customer service says that they will do an additional check and will not refund my money. Please avoid these scammers! They are withholding my $6,000 for no reason

They definitely steals money. Been almost 6 months & I still never received my $2k check. Literally closed my account for no reason. Only person works there is “Colin” & he will stop responding to you immediately once you catch on!

Worst banking app ever. I reported a suspicious transaction on my account. They froze my account and closed it. The only person that seems to work there is some guy named Colin. He told me that they were sending me a check in the mail within 30 days. It’s been a month and I have not received the check yet. He is no longer responding to my emails and when I try and get support using their chat feature, he closes the chat and says the issue was “solved”. Do NOT use this bank. There’s definitely something wrong going on here.

The account setup was difficult. After three attempts I was finally able to get through all the glitching during the setup process. I did not link any bank account, and I thankfully did not deposit any money. After a couple of days, I logged into the app to deposit some money, and I was notified that my account had been closed due to suspicious activity. I reached out via chat and the chat representative, Colin, confirmed that the account is closed and that this cannot be reversed. No further explanation as to what suspicious activity caused this. I asked, but again, no further explanation. There was no suspicious activity on my end because all I did was set up an account. Why wouldn't they give me any clarification as to what was their determination, or why wouldn't they be willing to assist in resolving this? Don't waste your time with this app. It seems suspicious, and almost fraudulent as to how they operate.

The customer service/ Tech response team is horrible, Still having issues with Plaid No one has replied to me. Also, it took 1 week for a Deposit from my bank, I did this twice. I'm wondering if I'm going to have a hard time receiving funds from my customers
