Good content, good presentation, and timeliness of subject matter

The study material and tests were helpful. The site is easy to navigate through and there were never any technical issues. Only thing is that the practice questions are not similar to the exam.

I appreciated the fact that Kaplan has a PDF textbook, online lessons that you can do at your own pace, and pre-recorded videos where an instructor reviews the important information from that unit. It's great that they have so many different ways to access and absorb the information. I have to give a big shout out to my live-review instructor, David. He really gave the best tips to ensure you pass the exam the first time. Proud to report I got an 81% on Ohio's P&C exam!

Well structured, I could learn at my pace from the comfort of my home. Passed both exams on my first attempt.

Course was sufficient in preparing me for the exam. Difficult material, but everything is there to learn.

This course was full of information and let you learn at a good pace. The 2 days of online learning was fantastic. My only disappointment was the courses didn't focus on the state laws because the class was mixed with people all over the country.

Kaplan Provides user friendly courses. Gives you everything to complete the course with success. Very useful information for success at point of sale.

Does not honor refund policy, courses are poorly organized and customer service is about as responsive as a corpse. Asked for a supervisor contact and didn't get one, declined contact when called back. Terrible company to do business with.

From my experience with other test takers when going through my insurance certification & licensing, Kaplan seems to be the BEST bang for your buck. Pros: Even the most basic package for property, casualty, life, or health have HUNDREDS of practice questions in the QBank. You can add on supplementary study materials (for some extra cash) like flashcard sets, so you can customize your learning experience to fit your needs. There are checkpoint quizzes and exams to track your progress. You can even see how much you need to study each day using their study calendar feature. I HIGHLY recommend based off of all these features alone as I haven't seen all of this shared with other certification course providers. That said... Cons: Not every course is built equally, even within the same company. I took the P&C as well as the L&H bundles for my state (KY) through Kaplan. Though the general study materials & available resources were the same, it was obvious to me P&C hadn't been updated in a while as the outline was not updated to match Kaplan's own manual. It referred to sections that either didn't exist or did NOT talk about the topic they claimed it did on the outline. Additionally, there wasn't nearly as much user-friendly guidance in the P&C portion as the L&H course. The L&H course's format feels great - streamlined, user-friendly, it's obvious where to go and what to do. The P&C doesn't hold your hand in the same way when telling you where to start or go next, so be ready for that if you decide to take the course.

Concise explanations. No fluff and gets right down to what you need to know for the test. Can’t thank Kaplan enough. Passed the test in one try.

With my health and life exam Kaplan was the best. I passed my exam on the first try. I watched the videos, did the practice exam, the simulation exam, listened to the live instruction plus followed the built in calendar. With all the tasks available I passed.

The material was well organized and the test were excellent, and gave a lot of confidence going into the exams The videos were of mixed quality, some really excellent with others poor

The company is very good. The practice quizzes help so much and just the whole learning process takes a little bit, but it is well worth learning all the material.
