Mf lowest factor of 9 and 15 and 5 is 45 NOT F*CKIN 90

The questions they give on certain topics often are wrong, and when it tells you what was wrong, it will tell you the same things over and over again, despite it being incorrect. Also, in order to complete one topic, you have to get 100 points, however, it barely gives you any points for getting a question correct, and will heavily punish you for getting questions wrong. Correct answers give you 2 points, and wrong ansers take away 10-12 points. You have to get 5-6 questions right, just to get back to where you were. The system is poorly thought out and optimized, the layout can be extremely confusing, and it barely helps with the learning process. I feel bad for any student who is forced to use this waste of computer resources. 0/10 never use this program ever.

IXL freaking sucks. Why? I'LL TELL YOU WHY! I have to do it for homework every week. Simple right? WRONG! there are only 45 easy skills. The other 300+ are TOO HARD! and i'm forced to do 17 A FREAKING WEEK! I can never catch a break. Worst math app I've ever used. F minus.

absolute hell to use. ruined my day, took so much of my time and made me cry every single time i used it. the grading system is so bad that i cannot believe this was even approved and i cannot believe that it is still as bad as when i used it. find another learning app, this one is so not worth it. didn't improve a bit, just ruined a bit of my life.

It's a bad website, even thinking about it put my little sister in a bad mood.it's boring and unrewarding. my sister tells me the smart score makes her feel dumb, and that it only rewards the "smart" people

This is torture I lost a brain cell doing these question it will make you question reality and this will stop your brain from working never use this thing it doesn't even deserve to be a thing.

IXL is torture for children. The grading system makes absolutely no sense. A correct answer gives you 1-2 points,an incorrect one takes away 10-15 points! That isn't even done in colleges and universities but we're doing it to elementary students?! We are crushing their spirits. You can actually watch their interest in learning smothered in real time. This system must change.

Do not use the IXL App. No help is also a waste of your money and most importantly when you pay you can never find a way to stop paying. I've stopped using it but have been paying and haven't found a way to cancel.

One IXL could easily ruin a child's day... I know you can do better. Many people have already complained about SmartScore, but it isn't very pleasant. "One question, correct? You're up 2 points! Is one question wrong? Now you're back 8 points!" See how stupid that sounds? Sadly, it's the truth. It either takes you a short amount of time to do an IXL or HOURS. There's no in-between. IXL is not as hellish in grades four and below, and 5th grade is a grace period. Anything above will have you using hours on the site. I get it; the point is to boost a child's learning and capabilities. However, giving them a bunch of stress does not help at all. Not to mention, there's a time counter to let you know how much time has been taken from your life thanks to companies only wanting money and not trying to teach a child. How much time have you wasted? Well, I've wasted 53 hours (all time) on this site that could've been used for authentic learning. Do better -A 6th grader

I absolutely hate IXL. It makes me so stressed and I’m so scared of making mistakes that I don’t even want to try. It’s the most unfair website ever.

ixl sucks I hate whoever made. my parents dont care though the smartscore is horrible I hate whoever made this torture also I have to do this for my tuition aswell it is worse than HELL [also no offence to ixl.]

I gave IXL three in the past but now I gave it four because I found a very helpful review. If your child is stressed out easily, this website isn't good. However, you just have to get used to it and eventually, it is no problem. If it wasn't for the 1-star reviews, I would give it 5 stars.

it sucks. I have never seen any app this bad. first of all, when i got a question wrong, my stomach acid drained. and then my eyes scrunched up and died. after this i went to the hospital and they euthanized me. oh wait that was my cats story. but this app killed my cat -100000000000000000000/10 i would pick 0 stars if i could.

This website isn't good at all because it doesn't corrage kids to learn. Instead the smartscore makes thing unfair because, for example you got one question right it goes up like 2-3 but when you get it WRONG IT GOES DOWN LIKE IN 5-8 POINTS. I would strongly not recommend this because kids are breaking down while doing ixl, and breaking their own devices as well they're spending so many hours on their homework/learning. My school doesn't do IXL they use Hegarty maths. But in lockdown in 2020, I found IXL just for the learning until I realised that it wasn't good at all. The first few weeks in lockdown when I started it, it was ok at first but then I regretted it. The maths one isn't good but WAIT THERE'S MORE! There's also an English one as well but the smartscore is the same thing as the maths. We was doing something on verbs, pronouns and adjectives but NOT ONLY WE GOT IT WRONG, THE EXPLANATION WASN'T GOOD AS WE DID WHAT IT EXACLY TOLD US TO DO BUT IT KEPT CHANGING THE EXPLANATION! JUST TO MAKE US CONFUSED! I SPENT 7-10 HOURS ON THIS TO GET 100%, NO BREAK UNTIL I FINISH THIS ON TASK OFF! Please do not get IXL,I NEARLY PUNCHED THE NEW LAPTOP THAT WE'VE BROUGHT! Don't it's not worth it.

IXL can be useful at times but it can seem a bit more daunting and stressful than other websites. From our experience, kids really didn’t enjoy it as much as I would have hoped. We’ve tried out a few and Beestar was more helpful in our opinion.
