Maria helped us book an incredible tour of Ireland, with wonderful hotels, rental car, and a great itinerary. they were available for all issues we had and made the whole trip easy. We cannot wait for another trip with them!
Irish Tourism planned our vacation in Ireland. They arranged everything from our car rental to accommodations and our travel route. The hotel choices were exceptional and in optimum locations. Stephanie, our agent, was very pleasant, informative, easily accessible and always quick to respond to our queries. The entire trip went smoothly and we truly enjoyed beautiful Ireland. I would highly recommend Irish Tourism for travel planning.
Very helpful, informative and collaborative experience! We had to reschedule multiple times due to the pandemic and their staff - especially Linda L - was extremely friendly and patient. We had a wonderful self-drive tour. If you’re thinking of seeing Ireland, do it! Every place we stayed was great and the tips and suggestions were spot on. We’ll definitely be going again!
I would like to give a "shout out" to Linda Larkin and all of the Irish Tourism Group for a wonderful tour of Ireland. My husband and I and my two sisters recently took a private tour of Ireland from 9/7 to 9/19/22. Linda and Irish Tourism planned our route, booked all of our hotels per our specifications with full Irish breakfast and arranged for our driver and personal vehicle. This truly was the way to sit back, relax and enjoy the beauty of Ireland during our tour. We avoided the hassle of driving and trying to navigate on unfamiliar roads. We also found that having an Irish driver, besides showing us sights and places on our itinerary, gave us the opportunity to explore "off the beaten path"places due to his intimate knowledge of his country. Our accommodations happily met our expectations as did our meals and the company of our driver. We all agreed that Ireland is a beautiful country and should be on everyone's travel list. We also were taken by the kindness and courtesy of the Irish people and consider them some of the happiest and most friendly people we have encountered on our travels. Visit Ireland...and when you do book your tour with Irish Tourism. You will have a great trip and enjoy a beautiful country.
We have used Irish Tourism twice. Both trips the accommodations were excellent, clean, friendly hosts, excellent food. The auto reservation they made went off without any problems. We tend to wonder, no real schedule. Stephanie had great suggestions for stops along the way Highest compliments for their help
Information and process was clear and easy. Had a slight problem with invoice charging where 15% was added to cost instead of discounted but this was fixed.
Easy working with Stephanie. They arranged the perfect week in Ireland. They honored my deposit from 4 years ago and used it as a down payment. Great service, price and accommodations.
I had heard about Irish Tourism after a quick Google search. This was our first trip to the Emerald Isle and I wanted to make sure we were doing it right and seeing most of the sights we've always dreamed of seeing. I am so glad that I reached out. Stephanie was amazing and took into account our wants and needs. She was in regular contact with us and put together the perfect Itinerary. I wouldn't have done it any other way! Everything was a breeze, from picking up our rental car from the airport, to checking in to our hotels, to giving advice about what to see. SO happy with our experience and can't wait to go back to beautiful Ireland. I will definitely use their services again and would absolutely recommend Irish Tourism to all of our friends and family.
Maria from Irish Tourism was fantastic. I’m planning our first trip to Ireland, she thought of everything and planned our experience so we saw the tourist attractions that were important to us as well as some additional excursions. We opted to take trains from one location to the next and it was the best decision- relaxing while viewing the countryside. She precooked our tickets and seats so it took all the stress out of our itinerary. Our ten days was packed with a variety of options including a private chauffeur one day (so awesome) returning to some great hotels at the end of the day for two weary, but happy, tourists. Highly recommend Maria and Irish Tourism!!
The team at Irish Tourism was great. They listened to our needs and using their expertise designed a custom experience that my wife and I will never forget. The hotels and tours they set up were great. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
My boyfriend and I had a great time in Irland! 5* we recommend!
We worked with Tina at Irish Tourism to set up our 2 week self drive tour or Ireland. All accommodations were top notch. Trip notes that were provided were great. We had a great time and would use Tina again. Will also tell friends and family about Irish Tourism for trips.
Linda, Thank you for the lovely trip. We enjoyed it tremendously! The variety in accommodations, seeing the rural countryside and the Gap of Dunloe tour were our favorites. But it all was very special and Ireland is a beautiful country with even more beautiful people. Cashel House and Algret B&B were the best. The two hotels we also stayed in were in great locations, with tasty breakfasts, and were very clean and we felt safe. We highly recommend your company, and have mentioned you to several friends.
We worked with Tina and she was very responsive. She booked our car and hotels, and developed a detailed, lengthy itinerary with numerous options for our selection. We narrowed down the things we wanted to do that we could fit in during the time we had. We absolutely loved our trip and not having to worry about booking the car and hotels made the planning easier.
Confirming our marvellous 18 day tour of Ireland's eastern counties and the Wild Atlantic Way clockwise from Dublin around the coast to Galway. We visited almost every museum and gallery en route, walked 150 miles, researched family history and imbibed in more than one pint of Guinness. Thanks to Stephanie Guina for arranging such an interesting comprehensive itinerary and introducing us to lovely BnB hosts and hotels. Stephanie was responsive to our needs and sorted out the inevitable glitches which the pandemic and transport strikes caused. We will surely engage her again soon when next we visit the Emerald Isle.
Tina O'Connor was fantastic to work with! I contacted Irish Tourism well over a year before our planned trip to Ireland to get some advice on where to stay and places to see. Tina took my desires and turned them into one of our best vacations ever! She found quaint hotels in places where we wanted to stay, including a castle hotel! And then she provided a 70-page itinerary of places to see and things to do traveling from one location to another and while staying at a particular location. Wow! We couldn't do everything on the itinerary, but it provided a good place to start. This was a great trip because we still could do what we wanted to do, but had a very detailed itinerary from which to plan our day. And, we didn't have to think about where to stay as Tina did all that work for us. And, whenever I had questions, Tina responded that same day. Thanks Tina and Irish Tourism!
I chanced upon Irish Tourism whilst trawling the web for ideas for a holiday in Ireland. I am so pleased we did as it made things so much easier with invaluable help on where to go, which hotels to use and what to do. We put the holiday together with Linda at Irish Tourism in autumn 2020 after evolving with several changes on our part for August 2021. Everything was booked and ready to go but Covid impacted, and the holiday was moved in entirety to August 2022. Linda could not have been more helpful and the change was seamless. We drove from Surrey to Fishguard and took the ferry to Rosslare, spending 2 nights in Kilkenny, 3 nights in Galway and 4 nights in Killarney before returning home via Rosslare. A couple of nights in Kilkenny was about right for us with plenty to see including the castle, river, craft centre and dozens of small but interesting shops. In fact, there is much more and Linda provided an extensive personalised and detailed itinerary (for the whole tour), including things to see, pubs, music venues and restaurants. The Kilkenny hotel was comfortable with loads of free parking and nicely situated about 10 minutes pleasant walk from the town centre. The Harbour Hotel in Galway was right by the harbour and right near the town centre. Secure on-site parking is available but costs Euro10 per night. Easy to find with satnav in a very busy but handy part of town. A free upgrade here got us a nice room with the addition of a fridge and safe. Galway is a very lively place in the evening with loads of pubs and restaurants but go early or book as restaurants fill up earlier than you might expect. We spent a fair bit of time walking and exploring including walking along the coast to the promenade at Salt Hill. On our second day we did a pre-paid ferry day excursion to Arran from Rossaveal, about 10 miles along the coast from Galway but the shortest crossing. You can drive or get a dedicated return bus ticket from ticket office in Galway town centre. Be aware the bus is not perfectly synchronised with ferry times, so it was a very fine cut getting there and exchanging voucher for tickets in time. There is parking at the ferry terminal if you drive and want to be early. Arran was a relaxed day trip with café, minibus tours (didn’t book, there are loads), lovely scenery and several places to buy Arran pullovers – shop around. Final Stop was Scott’s Hotel Killarney. Scott’s Hotel was very nice and very well situated in the heart of town. Free underground parking was available and we left the car there for four days, getting taxies two or three times when needed. The reception staff at Scott’s were particularly helpful with sorting taxies and directions. We walked and explored, including a lovely walk along the river from Killarney to Ross Castle. Whilst in Killarney we took pre-paid excursions to Kate Kearny’s Irish Evening, a trip around the Dunloe Gap and a coach tour of the Ring of Kerry. Kate Kearny’s was a short taxi ride from Killarney and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. There was a three-course meal included with three meal choices, live Irish music and Irish dancing demo. It starts at 7pm and finishes quite early at 9 pm. This is a shame but as soon as the music finishes the coach parties up and leave. That said there is nothing to stop you staying on a while, The Dunloe Gap excursion was outstanding, accessing the most spectacular scenery as you travel one way in a jaunting car (horse and cart) and after a stop for lunch, return via the river and three lakes of Killarney. We enjoyed all the excursions, but this was easily the best. Our final excursion was a coach tour from Killarney circuiting the ring of Kerry. The tour took in many fine views, a sheep dog demo (really interesting), a pub selling the perfect Irish coffee and interesting insights from the Driver’s commentary. All excursions were prepaid (hassle free and guaranteed booking) and arranged by Irish Tourism. Vouchers with instructions and directions were provided for all hotels and excursions and the system worked very well. In summary, we had a fabulous holiday which was achieved with the help, knowledge and expertise of Linda at Irish Tourism. We only scratched the surface of the itinerary options we were given and there is loads more to see and do. Should we have the good fortune to return, we will have no hesitation in using Irish Tourism again.
We had the best time on our trip to Ireland. Irish Tourism provided us with a detailed schedule, and booked all of the activities that we wanted to do. We stayed at fabulous hotels, and we’re able to do some amazing tours. I recommend Irish Tourism to anyone that would like to explore Ireland!
Maria at Irish Tourism was great to work with. I explained our family's goals for a one week trip to Ireland and our unique needs and she accommodated these flawlessly. I was impressed with quality of hotels and the information provided. Our driver was professional and informative. Our day trips from Killarney and Galway were fun and worthwhile.
