The strap hinges #8307 are very heavy and seem quality made if a bit roughly. Same with the hangers #8255. I bought the galvanized versions even though I wanted black, as the price difference was a bit ridiculous. Anywhere from 60-75% more for the black. So I primed and painted them myself which worked fine. If Hoover believes that their paint is worth that much more, they should spend some time and words explaining in detail why. If not, then they should make the painting cost much more affordable. Shipping was also a little high.

My order specifically listed/requested an additional set of templates stickers for the Mammoth hinges the replacement hardware was being ordered for but they weren't included in our order. The packing slip that came in the box showed the request but it was not followed. Had to make due without the templates for the reinstall which definitely had it more difficult and was disappointed.

Hoover provided the product I ordered in a timely fashion. However, the charge to send a small key was three times the cost of the key which was unbelievably costly.
