These have become my go-to shoes for everything from easy runs to longer training sessions. The stability platform works seamlessly and doesn't feel overdone. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with mild to moderate overpronation issues.
Finally found a shoe that addresses my gait issues without feeling clunky. The Gaviota 5 offers excellent stability while still maintaining that signature Hoka cushioning. I'm impressed with how well they've balanced support and comfort. Will definitely be purchasing another pair when these wear out.
The support is fantastic and has helped reduce my knee pain, but the durability hasn't been great. Starting to see some wear on the outsole after just 150 miles. For the price, I expected better longevity.
These provide good motion control for my flat feet, but I wish they had more breathability. The upper gets pretty warm during summer runs. The price point is fair for what you get though.
Really comfortable shoes with good arch support. The cushioning is plush without being too soft. My only gripe is the high price point - there are similar options for less money.
These shoes have been a game changer for my daily runs. The cushioning is incredible and really helps with my overpronation issues. I've put about 200 miles on them so far and they're holding up great. Only minor complaint is they run a bit narrow in the toe box.
This iteration feels more refined than the Gaviota 4. Better heel lock and the midsole seems more responsive. Still provides excellent motion control for moderate overpronation.
While the support is undeniable, these shoes feel too chunky and heavy for my running style. The stability features work well, but I prefer a more minimalist feel. Quality seems good though.
Amazing comfort right out of the box. Perfect for my morning jogs.
Solid stability shoe with great heel support. The ride feels smooth and the materials seem durable. However, they're quite heavy compared to my previous running shoes and took a few weeks to break in properly.
