I personally really enjoy being able to see a plethora of news articles from many different sides and opinions as well as mlre grounded media covering the same topics. It's helped to open up my mind more to seeing how someone who is only fed certain information from one side or another and how the biases of an article really shapes how they can view the situations so differently. It's also helped in my own life and discussions with others by seeing their sides of the coin and how they may perceive the information given to them. That of which helps me to further a deeper discussion with them rather than shutting them off for thinking in a way so differently from my own.

I admit it is my fault I did not read the reviews here before I subscribed 🙈 Apart from the obviously unauthentic "positive" reviews, the comments are the same what I experienced. I subscribed by an in-video recommendation in a YT video, and thought the idea was good. But it turned out to be nothing like advertised and described. So very disappointed I decided that this is not for me and I wrote that (after 10 days of making the 99 euro annual subscription) I want to cancel it and requested the refund (since I am not consuming the service and I am not satisfied as a customer). In EU you have the right to CANCEL purchase or subscribtion within 2 weeks. They wrote that I can cancel, but can NOT get a refund!!! 😅😂🤣 Instead they asked me to explain and give them advice how to improve - what an audacity!!! To ask for free customer feedback, but not refund a non consumed service which is below average. I would have given my feedback, if they had complied with my kind request for refund. So I contacted the CEO via LinkedIn - and - NO reply! Learning: next time I will READ the feedback and experience of others who wasted their money, nerves and above all TIME! Ground news is an excellent platform for obtaining news where I can easily identify the political bias and also it shows the article sources. My daughter recommended it to me and I’m glad she did. 5 Stars!

This site gives a very wide and disparate reporting of world events. Even down to my local area. I can choose what to read and who to believe. Yhe report sorces are transparent and easily verifiable. Highly recommended

They give both sides to stories which saves so much time and there are numerous articles.

Not many today who you can trust with news esp not at all the mainstream media,I hope ground news keeps at it and doesn’t get bought by Zionists anytime soon like they have just managed to buy TikTok which should be boycotted by all who have a luxury to afford a little bit ”conscience”if not much.

This is my trusted news source. I appreciate that I can check important news presentations from sources that have different points of view.

I love Ground News! My phone news feed leans towards the sources I like to read (of course). With Ground News I get a high-level view of which sources are reporting what topics. Plus I can see how sources are rated for their factuality, so I more carefully consider what some sources are presenting to me. Ground News has allowed me to find and follow sources different than what I normally read and then consider different viewpoints. That alone is worth the subscription. But now I've also had a direct interaction with the CEO when I recently had to change my subscription (job layoff, having to cut some things I love). Harleen had an honest conversation with me about my experience with Ground News. In the world of cold, automated responses and AI that can't answer your questions, this interaction with Harleen really moved me. I want to support apps and businesses like this that are providing a great and essential service and that have real people wanting to continually improve the experience. A+ Ground News!

Ground News does exactly what they claim: it shows everything. This is not a service that's good for people who only want to see the things reported that they already believe are true. It is a service for people who want to see truth, lies, and everything in between and have the ability to figure out for themselves which category various things fall into. It's not perfect of course, nothing will be, but it makes the attempt in a world that needs it desperately. Worth addressing are some of the one star reviews. Many reviewers claim it's difficult to unsubscribe - this may be true. I thought I had unsubscribed months ago (for financial reasons, not dissatisfaction) and was charged for it just two days ago. However, contrary to many of those negative reviews, when I immediately reached out to the company I was provided with a full refund and cancellation within 48 hours, no further questions asked.

A necessary resource!

Ground News is an amazing service to humankind! There are many platforms that provide a one-page view of the most relevant news (like Google News or Flipboard), but none expose the biases, blind spots, and manipulations behind the headlines. For media outlets funded by private companies, it’s natural that group interests can influence coverage. I’m privileged to live in a country (Germany) where much of the news is publicly funded, and therefore less likely to be driven by corporate interests. Yet, the United States still sets many of the global standards for narratives — and there’s no better place to search for truth than where such diversity of perspectives exists. Ground News is a breath of fresh air — something you can truly rely on if you want to be well-informed, not bias-confirmed. Kudos to Ground News, and a shoutout to Harleen Kaur for bringing it to life. Hopefully, she’ll be recognized one day — maybe even with a Pulitzer — for her outstanding contribution to truth in journalism.

This service is exactly what people need to break free from the political and biased framing typical of the mainstream media and most communication channels. Offering users the opportunity to acquire information both on the facts themselves and on how they are presented by different news sources is a double value that no other service on the market offers. All this by providing links to the aforementioned sources and offering the opportunity to break through one's own media bubble of influence. I also note the effort to collect local foreign news, and I hope that this intention will become increasingly widespread and in-depth over time. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Ground News is the best way to get down to the truth in a news story by far. It makes it super simple to see biases and even helps to make sure you aren’t missing stories from your own biases when choosing a news source.

This is a more philosophical & emotional review: I honestly think and hope that, through platforms like it, humanity can get back to the time where critical thinking and good journalism are the norm and not the exception. That’s it. Go use it and form your own opinion.

The only news app I've ever paid for and the only one I would pay for moving forward.

I've been using Ground News for a little over half a year and it almost immediately became indispensable for me. I appreciate being able to easily read through several news sources on the same subject to get a thorough and balanced overview of the topic. It's also extremely valuable to be able to see how news sources that are heavily slanted towards the right or left are reporting on a subject, because it makes it easier to talk to people who only get their news from those sources and use the language they're used to while helping guide them toward a more nuanced and balanced view. It's a powerful tool for helping us all to reach common ground, and to see the truth behind all of the distractions that sensationalized stories provide.

Form your own opinions on the world around you!! I found this great app/site via The Why Files (long live Hecklefish)...If you are tired of the same old narrative being shoved down your throat from both sides of the main stream media (MSM) then Ground News is for you. It gives you both sides left and right, and allows you to make a decision for yourself. The Blindspot is great in that it shows you what other articles aren't and the paid Vantage plan also shows you the ownership and which countries these articles are coming out of. Highly recommended!

A fantastic website for seeing and understanding media bias. I especially like the Blindspot page. Don't bother subscribing if you want to stay angry in your tribe and like the propaganda both side feed their followers.
