Superb customer service, mainly from Toni Daniels but backed up 100% by all her colleagues when they answered the phone in a similar, friendly, attentive and thoughtful way as she does, anticipating what the customer might like and immediately offering it. I get the clear impression that GLS and its sister companies always put their customers first, and that they also greatly value their staff, who in turn, not surprisingly, all seem to enjoy their work and take a great pride in doing it well. They communicate magnificently and therfore buying from GLS (i my case for the first time) has been a pleasure: so much better than what is so often these days, whether online or in a store, less than helpful and sympathetic. Your choice of courier - DPD - was also a wise one. They, like GLS, are thoughtful, courteous and helpful, and their driver David, who delivered my order on two successive days, also went the extra mile and is a great ambassador for them and for the businesses who entrust their goods and customers to them. I will certainly come back again to GLS to make some of the annual bulk purchases of the small international educational charity partnership for which I give of my time. I never thought that I would be writing in such a positive way when my experience with other suppliers and their couriers (most of whom long since banished telephone contact from their so-called customer service operation) during this annual exercise over the last nine years has been often frustrating and stressful - and occasionally made me wonder who is serving whom, and whether those businesses could care less about their corporate image! My only reward for writing this review is the pleasure I have experienced in coming across a business that has such a wise and thoughtful approach to doing business and exudes its "Can do" climate outwards to its customers. This engenders trust, loyalty and all-round happiness. Thank you all.

We have used GLS for many years to purchase toys and equipment for our after school club. Everything has always arrived promptly and in good condition. Today I had an item which was damaged and one which was not included in the parcel. I phoned for assistance and Karen was superb! She apologised and without hesitation sent replacements :) Simply superb customer service!
