We waited a full day for the driver to then decide to say at 3.30 he couldn’t get to the house even though we had a delivery the day before from them no trouble. Then we were told they would try again at 8am the next day but eventually turned up at 13.45 Man who answers the phone let’s say as no customer service skills

Poor Customer service & don't recommend to anyone
I am writing this review to share my disappointing experience with the customer service at Gill Building Company(walsall). After placing an order of nearly £1,000( have bills for proof), I encountered an issue during delivery—the driver accidentally broke the manhole drain cover and acknowledged the mistake, even reporting it to the customer service team. I followed up with Gary from customer service for over a week, only to be met with rude responses and a refusal to take responsibility, claiming it was somehow my fault. I am shocked—is this really how they treat customers? I’m completely dissatisfied with their handling of the issue and would not recommend buying products here, as it seems they’re unwilling to assist if any problems arise. A very disappointing experience!

Delivery driver was excellent
Delivery driver was excellent, really helpful, polite, professional and friendly. He took the extra effort to drop the delivery exactly where I asked, which made my barrowing a lot easier. The aggregates were just as I wanted, and finished the job a treat. I ordered pea gravel, sharp sand and top soil. Tiny point, the top soil was a bit damp, making it a bit harder to spread about, but it dried out in a couple of days, and I guess it's pretty difficult to keep it dry! All good, very pleased indeed. Delivered the wrong insulation board
Delivered the wrong insulation board, delivered 100 mm instead of 90mm no one told me about the wrong insulation causing me delays. I had to go to tippers to get my boards. Poor communication.
