Needs to close business
Grocery foods are too expensive and they are scamming for money at Giant. Either this business (along with high grocery stores) needs to stop raising prices or else I want to sue.

Reviewers express significant dissatisfaction with GIANT® Food Stores, highlighting a range of issues that contribute to a negative shopping experience. Many customers complain about high grocery prices, feeling that the store is "scamming" them for money. The checkout process is notably criticized for being slow, despite the presence of numerous employees, which frustrates shoppers. Additionally, the self-checkout system has been problematic, with reports of duplicate charges and unhelpful customer service. Delivery services also receive negative feedback, with delays and inconsistent policies causing further frustration. A few reviews mention minor positive aspects, such as the variety of products available, but these are overshadowed by the overall negative sentiment.

January 24, 2023 I used the self check out at the Giant Food Store, Number 6442, in Havertown, PA. I had a large order and their check out computer kept telling me to place my item on the bagging area. Well the bagging area filled up fast and when I tried to remove and bag some items, the system stopped allowing me to check out and said "help is on the way." The store associate got short with me because she had to several times override the system so I could continue checking out. She said I should put the rest of the items on the conveyor belt. But when I did that their system stopped allowing me to scan and gave me the same message help is on the way. I used to spend over $100 a week at Giant. After this incident I destroyed my Giant shoppers card and never shopped at Giant again. Emailed Giant about my experience on January 28th and never received a response.
For the fourth time I ordered a 148.00 order. It was scheduled to be delivered between 2:30 and 6:00. And once again at the last minute they backed up delivery an hour. The last order they did the same thing and instead of one hour delay it turned out to be 3 hours late it didn't come until 9 pm. I canceled today's order and was told I would not see a refund for 3 days. So now I can't reorder elsewhere until a148.00 is refund. So,instead of them stepping up due too their error I have to suffer. I highly recommend that everyone who reads this review stop shopping at Giant food stores.
Self checkout charges your card in duplicate after you leave store... most people might not even notice because it's digital
Today @ Giant Food Stores # 6087 I attempted to make a purchase with my Healthy Benefits + card as they are contracted to accept as a form of payment for the disabled thru Aetna Medicare. As you can see from the transaction history I have been able to use these benefits many times with this location on my phone as described in the attached e-mail from Healthy Benefits +, Aetna medicare's contractor. You can also see they are listed as a retail location that is in network. And last but not least you can see that this retailer's own rewards card is in a phone app. However on this day, April 06, 2022 @ the cash register next to the chinese food store Teresa Meeks who has accepted this as a form of payment in the past informed me it was their store's policy not to do so. I had then spoken to a male in front of the customer service desk being identified as the "Store Manager" who told me that they can't scan anything on my phone as it could be malicious code that could invade their systems. At this time I am requesting a reasonable accommodation to the disabled under Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act to this new policy of not accepting the payment method Giant Food Stores has contracted to accept from the disabled under medicare to the disabled for Aetna's members as described in this e-mail from Soultran LLC. If Giant Food Stores is not to accept this form of payment Ms. Meeks herself has scanned from my phone in the past their contract with Soultran LLC must be terminated so that they can be replaced as a retailer in this vital health program to the disabled with such few retailers in the neighborhood.
