Liam and Dan of First First Home Improvements. I cannot commend the quality of my windows and door more highly. Liam and Dan worked tirelessly from the minute they arrived and we are very happy with their workmanship, cleaning up thoroughly and both very polite. The whole experience has been exceptional. Keep doing what you do.

Had Charlie and Dave come to remove old windows and fit new ones. They showed up on time and were really polite, respectful and professional throughout the whole morning they were here carrying out the work.

Had a window sealed unit replaced under guarantee. The work was arranged quickly and the service engineer, Jade Downs, rang ahead and arrived on time. He was polite, professional and friendly and completed the work quickly and professionally. While he was here he also adjusted the porch door which was stiff to operate at very low temperatures.

Darryl and Nathan have been extremely pleasant and professional, nothing too much trouble. Arrived and left according to the plan. I am very pleased with the job - it expectations.

After having new windows installed, there was a very tiny particle in one of the windows to which I called the company. They were very understanding and sent out an engineer Jade (Jay) to which he inspected and ordered a new partition window. When it came to fitting the new window, Jade Downs was very professional, friendly, polite and understanding. He introduced himself, told me exactly what he was going to do and tidy up after himself. Suggestive after care was then discussed. Very pleased with the outcome. Would and have recommended the company for all the attention to detail and duty of care I have received from start to finish.

Syed Shah was amazing. He was calm, professional and super helpful with his explanations. Loved having him explain everything and would highly recommend him. Thank you Syed.

We were kept informed the whole way through of what was happening. The installers were friendly and informative. They completed the work in a timely and tidy manner. We were shown the finished works and agreed it was done to our satisfaction.

Lee and max parkes they turned up early,hardly any noise, worked solidly very professional,left the place tidy,and they were very polite and friendly.

A very easy process from start to finish. John and Conor couldn’t have been more professional and helpful. The installation was quick and carried out to a high standard. I was well informed throughout and nothing was too much trouble.

Upvc door is of poor quality. It broke after 4 years, I think defect hinges was installed and now they want to charge 300 pounds. 10 year warranty for nothing

Very professional staff - Mark and Brandon did a great job with our door installation. They took photos and sent these to head office of the damage to the lead work on the received window panel and I have been reassured by head office that this will be replaced ASAP.

I found first home improvement very helpful and polite to arrange appointment once it was arranged the engineer Mr Jack Downs phoned me and asked as he is in the area if he could come early I agreed he was very polite and knowledgeable repaired my door with in a hour I am very satisfied with the service thank you Jack .

I had a set of bifold doors fitted August 2021 and since fitting I have had nothing but issues with draughts, and had numerous engineer out to try and fix them with no success. Every winter the room is freezing and last winter I spent a fortune on draught excluders to try and improve the situation as I was fed up with first home improvements sending out an engineer who never solved the issue. Finally I was so fed up I thought I would try one last time and called first. They sent engineer Jade Downs who checked the doors and suggested replacing the brush bar fitting on the bottom of the door, when he removed the brush bar from the principle door it was evident that it was the wrong brush bar and should never have been fitted on the bifolds, he compared it to the other doors and it was about have the size in depth so no wonder the door was draughty. Jade replaced the brush bar and hopefully I have no further issues. It's only taken 4 years to solve the issue, clearly someone was cutting corners when they originally fitted the doors. Unfortunately since yesterday 21/05/2025 the newly fitted brush bar has partially fallen out and now the door struggles to close. Phone first home improvements and the first available appointment to get it fixed is the 19/06/2025 (nearly a month away)!! I explained that the door struggles to close and asked should I just pull the rest of the brush bar out, advised to pull it out, I also clarified that it might damage the runner and/or the door, they advised they would fix it if damaged. Very upset that the saga of these doors goes on and on. Telephone call from first home improvements on 22/06/2025 to say that an engineer would attend on 23/06/2025. Engineer arrived promptly and removed the brush bar, but unfortunately didn't have the same brush bar, so couldn't be replaced. He did say he thought that the door needed to be lifted but would need two engineers to do that. I also expressed concern that if the door is lifted that further draughts might persist. Now just waiting for first home improvements to contact me with a date to come and hopefully finally sort out these doors. My ref number is 80446.

Just had a, awkward job of fitting a new front door to my old property . Mike Taylor Ref127597 did a first class job did not stop working and a good fitter also left a very clean work area, happy customers 😀

I had a composite stable door fitted by Paul Smith and couldn’t be happier with the service. The door was made and delivered very quickly after the measurements were taken. Paul did an excellent job with the installation, removed the old door, and made sure everything was clean and tidy afterwards. Great workmanship and a smooth, hassle-free experience!
