Flat Mobile from DR, mixed feelings

Me and my girlfriend both have the Flat Mobile subscription from Digital Republic. The setup to get the eSim going was pretty straightforward and fast. I use the internet mostly to browse on my phone, watch videos or provide a hotspot for other devices to do the same there. The internet works quite well during the day. However, the bandwidth in the evening gets super bad so that I usually cannot watch youtube videos in 720p or stream videos on my Laptop without frequent stuttering. This is a major bummer because a big reason for me to have internet at home is to watch movies since at work I have wifi from my employer.

Scam extra money off you!!! Careful!

If youre not careful they scam 10 extra bucks of you to use voice. Its checked as an add on but in a way that they make it look like if not checked you cant proceed with registration…. Learned that the hard way. Got 3 sim cards and unluckily with 2 i payed extra 10 swiss francs. Also they say checking ID takes 5min. It takes 2 days - i already saw another review complain about this. Sad but i guess thats what you get when going for the cheapest! It really sucks though that they rip you off with the extra 10 bucks - i am sure when answering to this review they say „it has the option to check it off“… but as mentioned then it seems like you cant finish the registration process

Moderne Produkte und 1a Kundenservice

Die Idee primär Datenkarten zu kaufen finde ich schon genial, mit der Voice Option ein vollwertiges Abo für einen unschlagbarenpreis zu haben ist genial. Leider wohne ich in einer Region in welcher Sunrise kein guten Entz hat. Ich habe dies so kommuniziert und mir wurde alle Leistungen welche ich noch nicht bezogen haben zurückerstatten. Echt genial :)

Abo-Änderung zurück auf nidrigeren Tarif…

Abo-Änderung vom höchsten zurück auf den kleinsten Tarif wurde nicht wie eingestellt automatisch geändert und lief weiter bis ich gemerkt habe, dass mir das Geld für das höhere Abo noch einmal abgebucht wurde... Nach Reklamation ( mit Beweis-Screenshot der eingestellten Änderung) wurde promt und freundlich reagiert und vorgeschlagen den zu hohen Preis zurück zu erstatten oder als Vorbezahlung anzulegen...

Meine Karte wurde gesperrt

Meine Karte wurde gesperrt, ich hatte keine Ahnung warum. Es war eine alte VISA - CVV-Nr. hinterlegt, was mir natürlich nicht aufgefallen war. Ein Mail, das ganze wurde sofort wieder aufgeschaltet. Freundlich, kompetent und vor allem, sofort lösungsorieniert. Das positive Gegenteil von Swisscom!
