Review summary

Contractor Clinic receives a mixed response from its customers, with a significant number expressing dissatisfaction. Many reviewers label the company a "scam," citing issues such as unfulfilled promises of appointments and poor communication. Complaints about refunds and unauthorized charges are common, with several customers reporting they paid substantial fees without receiving the expected services. However, there are positive experiences as well; some consumers report quick appointment bookings and commend the staff for their responsiveness and support. A few reviewers highlight the effectiveness of the marketing services, noting a boost in leads and revenue. Despite these positive remarks, the overwhelming sentiment leans towards frustration and disappointment. Overall, Contractor Clinic struggles to maintain a positive reputation amid numerous critical reviews.

SCAM ALERT!!!

Brendon the sales guy promised 60 appointments in 90 days and lied about the billing. I never signed their contract because of the discrepancy and continually asked to speak to someone about this. They charged me anyway. Then they would not answer calls, texts or emails for 2 weeks.

IT IS A SCAM

IT IS A SCAM! Like so many other reviews, they guaranteed our company 60 appointments for $6,000 over the course of 3 months. It has now been 6 months, we have received only 8 appointments. In addition, the multiple $1,000's spent on Facebook ads/marketing were cookie cutter and practically nonexistent - I personally had to make posts to even have it look legitimate. When we asked for only $4,000 of the $5,200 owed to us via the contract (because we wanted to keep trying to trust them but felt uncomfortable with being that invested), they said they sent it. We waited the 10-14 business days, and then started trying to get information. My husband called and texted multiple times with no response, and when we did get a text from Jacob, it was "everything ok?" And "I'll call you back," and then if we missed the call, we never could get him again. Finally, we received an email stating a refund of $2,500 was being processed and to wait 10-14 days again. We did, and nothing happened. With false promises, no communication, and being lied to, this company has scammed our small business that we are working so hard to grow. We even met Jacob and his wife when in Las Vegas in June, and he PROMISED us personally that he would look over our account and convinced us he was honorable for the contract. We even told him that we would wait to ask for money back because we believed him. We are so disappointed and disgusted with how we've been treated and lied to the entire time. This company is a scam - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY - you'll NEVER see it again. We are now pursuing legal action, collections, and possibly teaming up with others who have been scammed to file for a class action suit against this facade of a business.

Company is a scam

Company is a scam. You sign a contract with them with guarantee that when they can't do what they claim they can do after 90 days you get your money back. Well after 90 days when they can't get you quality leads they disappear and run with your money. You can't get in touch with them by email or phone even when they say they will refund you within 7-14 days. That was 45 days ago and still nothing. We have reached out to their support team and to the owner and no response. Don't give them a dime as you will never see any of it back ever again.

Complete scam

Complete scam! I was lied to on the first call with Kiara about the type of services that would be provided. Then the second call never happened due to time zone differences, and computer issues. Then while on with Michael, who was so high he could barely string a sentence together, I decided not to do business with them and was told I would be receiving a full refund and that would take 24-48 hrs. They have ignored all communications and I have not received the refund or any return calls or emails.

SCAM! RUN! ALL POSITIVE REVIEWS FALSIFIED!

After a sales presentation via zoom and a follow up zoom call regarding online lead generation we decided to try their program. The next step was to give our credit card information and pay for the first month upfront which we did - before even onboarding or starting the program. Next was the onboarding call - on this call we found out that how much we were paying, how we were being billed, what the pricing should have been, and how the program works were completely and purposefully misslead to us. We told them we wanted to cancel our agreement and they fought us tooth and nail and were very aggressive in telling us we were not allowed to do so and tried scare tactics. Eventually they agreed but then did not actually refund our $2500 deposit they only refunded $800 and ignored us. Eventually after repeatedly contacting them they responded stating that they would not give us the rest of our money back even though we never even started using the program or their services and stated "we are not obligated to refund your payment as per the contract agreement (see below/attached) - however as a courtesy we were able to get you a pro-rated refund and a cancellation of the remaining balance due of $5,000.00 USD." Then threatened us. I am asking every dollar that they charged us be refunded.

Bait and switch scam and unauthorized credit card charges

We were pitched to receive a fixed amount of leads for $6,000 over 90 days. We agreed, signed a contract, and then during their onboarding process we were informed there would be additional costs for ad spend on top of the $6,000. We immediately invoiked our right to rescind within 3 business days of signing the contract, they refused to refund our money, so we disputed the charge with our financial institution and received the money back. Then 3 weeks later we get a call from a collection agency, who we informed we were not paying due to their bait and switch tactics. Then a week later Contractor Clinic illegally and without authorization attempted to process another $3,000 charge on our card.

I paid $2,500 for their FB advertising…

I paid $2,500 for their FB advertising service with the understanding that is receive 15-20 leads within the first (30) days(Based on what I was told by who recruited me). Well, thankfully while being onboarded, I was told not to expect that based on other factors; well, not only that, I was told that I had to pay ‘extra’ for ad spend. So, I asked ‘several’ times to speak to who recruited me and He was no longer ‘available,’ AFTER I’ve paid my $2,500. Prior to that, He was accessible anytime basically… Then, I was put in touch with a Manager/Supervisor, not sure of the exact title. He offered me a few options to stay on and wanted me to allow them an opportunity to perform what I was told would happen and He offered to cover the ad spend if I agreed to stay. I kindly thanked Him and spoke HIGHLY of the two Ladies that onboarded me and shared that I appreciated the way they handled things, after I shared what had occurred to get me to that point. Then, at that time, I still told Him I just wanted my money back. I explained to Him that I’d felt like a ‘sale’ because what the Recruiter had sold me on, wasn’t what I was experiencing. So, the Supervisor/Manager agreed to refund my $2,500 payment, but they couldn’t refund the ad spend that I’d spent because that goes directly to Facebook and not them. Understandable. He then went on to say that it would take 7-14 business days for my refund to be processed and refunded to me. I told Him I that it should only be 3-5 business days based on what my bank said. He agreed, but said that it could take the 7-14 days, so that’s why they give that timeframe. He also said that He’d stay in touch with me while the process was being handled and keep me abreast of everything. Well, as of today, I still haven’t received my refund of $2,500 but I’ve only been able to speak with the Supervisor/Manager once since our initial conversation. They no longer answer the phone when I call the (4) different phone numbers I have and I was told to submit my requests to their Support channel, which I’ve done ‘several’ times, only to get an automated response saying someone from Customer Service will reach out to me within 24 hours… Nothing. By the way, ALL of their calls are recorded to verify ‘everything’ I’ve stated here on this review. So, if anyone reading this can point me in the right direction of what step(s) I should take next would be greatly appreciated. This is the first step of me attempting to recover my $2,500 since this company has proven they don’t care about anything BUT a sale. Last, I’ve been nothing but extremely patient and kind when communicating with them all and this is how they’ve treated me. Again, all calls are recorded to prove what I’m saying. Proceed with extreme caution…

This has been a terrible frustrating experience. SCAM LIKELY

This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a marketing company - they promised 60 leads in 90 days for $2,500 a month for 3 months or your money back with their contract stating this was all the money you would owe. Then they wanted us to pay for facebook ads. Frustrating but ok. Then they delivered only 3 leads in 90 days, everyone assured me multiple times that we would get our money back if they did not deliver. Got an email from their support team today that said we were ineligible for a refund. We made all 3 payments and stayed with them for all 90 days. Borderline scam I will now have to contact my attorney to get my money back

Very disappointed in this company!

Very disappointed in this company! When I complained about the call quality being poor due to the connection and the appointment setter’s inability to communicate with our potential customers Micheal implied that I was being racist. I immediately canceled the service and requested a refund. Ever since my request the company keeps giving me the run around. I still have not received a refund.

RUN RUN RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Absolutely terrible company, their reviews are turned off on google and Facebook and now I know why. They stole $6000.00 from my company promising 60 leads and their contract clearly offers a full refund for leads not generated, they delivered 1 poor lead and spent another $3500.00 in add money I did not approve. Got our Facebook account in bad standing by blasting cookie cutter ads in states we don’t even service. They promised a $4500 refund but it never came, now if I can get someone on the phone I get the runaround. Reading others reviews we’ll be pursuing legal action and possibly a class action suit against this SCAM company. UPDATE: Hi Jacob, I'm glad we finally got your attention. Not long ago your 7-14 days to give us a refund was expired and we were getting the run around about why we never received a dime. Must be something on our bank's end according to your staff, theyll check with a manager and call us right back (never called back)..Reminiscent of getting the run around when asking your staff why their ads are getting us ZERO leads. Does it always take potential litigation to get you to do what you promised? In regards to my review, I'd be happy to update it by adding the following facts: I tried to get your team to refund me and gave them ample opportunities and time to give me my full refund and adhere to the promises in your contract. My review did not include how your team promised me $500 back from subpar facebook ads they wasted over $3500.00 on our account without my permission and how your contract states we'd get all of our money back if you don't produce leads but you pick a random $4500 to promise us only to fail to refund it in the promised 7-14 days. How only after involving legal representation you finally process a $4500 refund, a drop in the bucket to the over $9500.00 we spent in total on your scam. And finally how you promised to work our dead leads, requested a spreadsheet with all of their contact info. which was many hundreds of contacts and not a single one of them ever heard from your company. Quite simply: everything I was ever told by you and your staff were lies from day one. Here's a few rhetorical questions: Why are your google reviews turned off? Are you aware of the horrible service your company provides? Is this how you train your staff? Do you even have an actual place of business? Why is the PAGES of complaints about your business on BBB? Is there anything about you that's legitimate?? After consulting with numerous other victims of your company, your scam is exposed and I would tread very carefully if I were you. Shame on you for taking hard earned money from hard working people, promising leads, spending ridiculous amounts of money dropping cookie cutter ads in states we don't even service, switching us from account rep to account rep, giving us the run around on your failure to perform or uphold the contract you drafted and had us sign. You need to do do better & be better. I am contemplating sharing our experience in detail with the numerous trade associations we are a part of. Do not contact me again unless you're willing to make me whole on the $9500.00 I wasted on your scam. Unfotrunately I'll never get back the over 3 months wasted. Again, man to man, shame on you. $9500.00 got us ZERO LEADS in 3 months.

Spectacular Service

I am so glad I chose to work with Contractor Clinic. Admittedly I was a bit skeptical at first after being burned in the past but their team has gone above and beyond for us! The money back guarantee definitely won me over, but the service has been so flawless we haven't even had to use it! If you're thinking about using them to generate qualified appointments you'd better stop thinking and get started before someone else grabs up your spot!
