Don’t bother with this scratch paint it was purchased for my Audi Q2 and it is not an exact colour match at all and looks terrible after applied . I wish I had just left the scratch as looks no better with this paint .

Excellent products whether you purchase the full repair kit or just individual items. I have received items just days after placing my order, very impressed. The kits are easy to use and you can get really good results

I purchased a chipex repair kit about a year ago in anticipation of the odd scratch that is inevitable when you live in London, and used it for the first time for a couple of small scratches last week. The instructions are very clear and the colour match was exact. A useful tip is first to clean and dry the area thoroughly, and then rub with the blending fluid. That can remove much of the visible damage, and so minimise the area needed to be touched up using the process set out in the clear instructions.

Definitely some user error in the initial drying times as if you're too early you wipe the paint off, too late and you have a hard time getting it flat and also mess it up but with some trial and error its a good product that in comparison to the paint chip repair market is reasonably priced for what you get. Paint was a perfect match to my car though do check if you have a pearl/metallic as my reg/paint code showed just blue while i actually have a pearl blue so picking that i was given the perfect match. Didnt find my included gloves till the end as they were in with the microfibre cloth used at the end. While my first attempt isnt perfect the results are much better and will give another go when its not as hot

The product was so easy to use and I cannot believe how good the result turned out. Perfect match in colour and it filled the stone chips and blended in so well that I cannot find them now. I even filled in some small scratches with great success. Thank you Chipex

Ordering was straightforward and delivery prompt. I had two sets of small scores on passenger door each set had small parallel scores/scratches with one set above the other. I followed instructions which took three attempts. On first attempt the blending solution completely removed all of Chipex paint, second partly filled/covered scores and third attempt gave a good result with the upper pair of scores completely invisible, couldn’t even tell they existed, the repair/covering of lower pair of scores is just about visible but wouldn’t be noticeable without close examination and knowing where it is. The success seemed to come down to applying more of the paint and dabbing it in with gloved finger then using a very small amount of the blending solution.

I have recently used Chipex on the bonnet of my Aston Martin Vantage (2009) . As it is a few years old it has suffered a few minor stone chips which were irritating and so I wanted to 'touch up' as they didn't warrant a full respray. Two or three are now so good it is hard to spot them, as it is an excellent colour match ! One slight larger chip 3-4mm took a bit paint more but still worked very well after polishing.

Arrived in a neat self-contained package with everything I needed. Accurate paint match. Keeping in mind this is intended to be a touch-up kit for small stone chips, it's surprisingly good. Most kits attempt to mimic the primer/paint/varnish layers, which often dissolve each other and create a mess. Instead, this uses a single, relatively hard paint/varnish that is much more consistent and easier to blend in using the fluid supplied. A standout feature is the set of tiny applicator pads, vastly superior to the usual clogged bristles you get and much easier to control. Try one spot first to get the hang of it, or watch YouTube guides, and be prepared to repeat or adjust a couple of times. My chips are now invisible except if you know where to look and use a magnifying glass.

The reviews said it was a solid product so I am fairly confident before it turned up. The kit is well packaged, good instructions. The colour match is very good on my vehicle which is a 3 stage. Take your time with it and the results are superb.

After talking to someone at work about paint correction he recommended chipex. So I entered my motorcycle registration in and they did the paint for it. The website was easy to use and complete the order. Within a few days I received it.

This product works, be patient and if you make a mistake, clean it off and start again. Be gentle and patient and then it works.

Really disappointed in this £40 product. We applied exactly as per the instructions, slowly and carefully. However - the paint didn’t really blend in as per step 2, it just sat on top of the scratches. The polish (step 3) didn’t make any difference, so now we have a scruffy and uneven paint covering of the scratches. Really disappointed, cannot recommend

Poor tracking, and package just left on the doorstep.! Also product doesn't work as described..!! Update: Reduced star rating again, because of the "BOT" response from my review.. Also a £4.99 paint pen colour matched from ebay does the same job, or for £25 more a local bodyshop will a Pro Job! Don't be conned by this overpriced product, don't take my word for it look on YouTube for average people like ourselves testing it on there own cars..!! If I could get a refund I would!!!

Bought this kit for my 2007 BMW E92 in Le Mans Blue, as the front bumper had a number of chips on it. Spent a few hours touching them all in and blending, the results are much improved on what it looked before. it takes the edge of off the chips and unless you look closely you can't really see them. The colour match is good. The kit includes lots of paint, blending solution and polish, but would like another blending cloth as it gets quite saturated in paint. Very pleased overall. Will be looking to get another for my other car!
