Great class. A lot of good information and tools and techniques.

From the initial start of the training, my exam results indicated that I was at risk of failing the certification exam. I continued to follow the bootcamp guidance during the week. I believe that if I would have scheduled the exam 2-3 weeks after the training, this would have allowed me to focus on weak areas and improve my chances, but was strongly encouraged by the program to take 1-2 days following the bootcamp.

Very effective and delivers as promised. Somewhat unconventional style, but it's refreshing and it works.

This course was imperative to my success for obtaining my PMP. I have real test anxiety that is almost paralyzing. This course gave me tools to help overcome that. It also provides great supplemental material from the PMBOK 6 which I found was extremely valuable especially considering how boring and repetitive the PMBOK guide was. The instructor really made the virtual experience feel like it might as well have been face to face. I ended up passing the exam above target at 3.5 hours.:)

Cheetah has the PMP certification process down to a science; we just need to commit to following the guidelines and the certification will happen. I highly recommend the course to anyone.

Cheetah Learning's PMP exam prep is good for improving how you study but does nothing to provide any understanding of the material. Some of their study skill techniques and psychometric methods should be mandatory for every student every year from middle school through grad school. The preparatory tests, however, were designed to trick not to teach. Further, if students have any questions as to what makes a particular answer "wrong" (or, more often, "less right") the instructor had no insight. The best thing I got from the course was simply dedicated time out of the office to focus.

Original class was cancelled with no notification. Caused me to waste two days of my time plus hundreds of dollars in travel expenses. Followup requests went unanswered for two weeks. Not a good experience! The class itself was great once I got into one but getting to it was not.

While I passed the exam, I feel the cheetah prep course was lacking in a couple areas. 1) during the course, the instructor repeatedly insisted the cheetah prep questions to be more difficult than the actual exam questions. I believe this to be a false statement. Secondly, the questions do not adequately represent what you experience on the exam. The mind map and mind mapping exercises; however, proved very beneficial for exam prep. 2) The instructor was more of a facilitator than an instructor. Any questions that arose were met with the same coined response of “this is simply our submission” and it was very difficult to have any type of intelligent/critical-thinking based discussion. If anything deviated from the verbatim wording of the PMBoK or cheetah material, the instructor could not answer any questions around the logic behind PMI’s way. This made it very difficult to mentally connect with the material.

Cheetah helped me prepare for the PMP exam with a very intense, impactful week of review. The week was very long, but the methods used during the bootcamp really prepared me!

Logistical communication was an issue. I enjoyed the stories and examples of the facilitator.

The instruction I received with Mike Swanson was outstanding. He used varied instructional techniques and methodologies and kept the class fun even though it was brutal. I had been in a previous class with another instructor, and that was very monotonous and unpleasant. I think the training materials are excellent. Cheetah is heavily dependent upon The contracted facilities in which it executes the course.

This boot camp gets you in the right mind set. The questions on my test were very different from any of test I practiced (Cheetah and the web test). I could have gotten that red-herring.

Mike was energized and well versed in alll aspects of the training material. He truly made the class fun and engaging!

Experience was a good but ultimately didn’t pass the exam on the first time.

What Cheetah can't teach you is all of the knowledge of the PMBOK in 4-days, that isn't and wasn't my expectation, because what they can teach you is how to maximize the knowledge you already have and how to view the PMP exam in the eyes of how PMI would want you to. For this, they not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Thank you Cheetah, and Mike Swanson especially, for helping me pass the PMP exam and be the best version of myself for that test.
