simple and easy however , The fees are a bit too high, Why is there a Service fee and a convenience fee, aren't they one in the same, Why not just have one flat fee.

Awful service. Too expensive. I have been wondering what this state does with all the customers money and taxes. Public service is priced too high and quality of service is deplorable. DMV comes number 1 in that reality. Everytime I go to the DMV for anything I spend the entire day there, so I have to take the day off for DMV. And when you want to take an appointment, the next one can't be anything less than a month. Monterey, Seaside and Pacific Grove needs more than one DMV, My frustration comes from the fact that I come from a different state: Indiana. DMV California charge 10 times more for such a poor public service. I can't believe I am being charged over $260 for one car registration, and have to pay for mailing too. What a shame!
