Very competitive on price. Easy website to manoeuvre. Wood is nice and straight. Delivery driver (Eric) was very helpful and polite. I would have given another star if I’d been informed of the delivery date. Although I think that only half a star should be taken away for this.

I have placed an order on a Monday. I spoken with the tram and been told it is going to arrive Thursday or Friday. On Friday i call again and they tell me they don't have a product in stock and will be replace with something shorter,but will get more pieces (to cover the lenght i bought). And that will only come on Tuesday or Wednesday. At this point i had my builders hired to start on Saturday so i had to pay them 250£ for each day of delay. Coming Tuesday,my timber arrives, but it couldn't be delivered as they do not unload the order. I did managed to speak to someone and been told that i will get a refund for the timber but not for the roof roof that is yet to be delivered. Still waiting for my refund and for my roof sheets, but i don't have big expectations about being an easy process and i can already see myself chasing both up.

I didn't order in the end as I could get the product more locally... But the sales person (Will??) was so helpful in looking at stock and seeing how much pallet transport would be to get to me...

Following what was an obvious packaging error, Building Materials, dealt with the issue seamlessly causing no inconvenience to myself. With the issue resolved the following day.
