"You have been reported to the…

"You have been reported to the authorites". Yet also supposedly "This conversation is temporary and will not be saved". After I threatened to sue them for misinformation. Case and point, see above misinformation about conversation are not saved yet they're also reported. Which is it? It was honest yesterday but today is back to violating 1st and 4th amendment constitutional rights. So unless you want to be threatened and have your rights violated, I would use an alternative.

False advertising used when they say…

False advertising used when they say "We allow Youtube to work closed!". Like, no. Very technically perhaps. Youtube still (intentionally) bugs out and pauses music and doesn't skip to the next song, meaning you can't even go for a 20 minute walk outside without having to rip out the phone to fix a problem. The big red "Shield" lion logo is intrusive and makes you look at it constantly, thinking it's a notification. Impossible to disable.

NOT GOOD

The fact that they don't have any real customer service that you can contact is so bad

Best browser I have ever used

Best browser I have ever used. Been using it for a long time. Also blocks most adverts. This will change the way you use the internet. Can't praise them enough.

Get away

Get away from it. The say to be privacy focused, but wanna get add-ons like the crypto wallet marketed.... And on Ubuntu it is so bad programmed, when you have it open for longer than half an hour, they crash and slow down Gnome totally, wtf?

Removed it

Removed it. Has random crashes and hanging. And I cannot fully control all privacy items easily, it too much hidden for a privacy browser. Privacy is also NOT a default and also crapware is default (I consider brave rewards to be crapware, nobody wants it). Brave search is also broken by default (just like google and others). It will always try to find the anwers that fit the advertisers best but never something that simply matches with the given search terms. (when you cannot find it simply say no instead of offering crap results).

Brave review

I've been using the browser for quite a while now, and I haven't come to much issues as of using it, of course there are some websites with non blocked ad's but they fix that up pretty fast!

I feel the browser was doing fine, but…

I feel the browser was doing fine, but learned to hate it because if you need to translate from a language to English, forget it..It is horrible.Seldom works and you have to keep redoing the translation settings at the top of the page and even then it does not work very well, just now and then.If it wasn't for that I would keep it,but going to look for another browser that actually works for translating.Even with using Google translate's extension,it made no big difference. It only works when it wants to.It does not recognize the foreign language you have it set for.You just keep getting "This page can not be translated".It sucks in my opinion....... Update.......I read more about how to setup google translate on Brave.First, you must turn off brave translate in settings..go to settings, language and turn Brave translate off..Then download the google translate.I found it works much better and even translate's by itself sometimes without doing anything yourself.I just did all of that the last half hour and it is working ok....Will see if it keeps working well. So,turn off Brave translate first, then download google translate.Hope this helps. Update 2....Works better but still lagging for translation.Have to click several times at times to get it to translate and sometimes it still doesn't.Suggest using another browser if you need to translate on a regular basis like I do.I;ll just use Edge when I know I'm going to have to translate a lot.Curious why Brave doesn't fix this issue if they want people to use their browser. That's all folks. The end.

GARBAGE browser

Utterly useless POS browser. The add blocking doesn't work as advertised, uBlock is still vastly superior to this dysfunctional garbage. Many login sites are totally broken and don't work, not even on brave relaxed settings you have to completely turn off the protection. Might as well use Edge... this is how bad this POS GARBAGE browser is.
