I saw that the shoe that was being sent was the wrong one. I have sent 5 emails, and tried to use the chat feature and have not been contacted one single time! There is no customer service phone number. Ridiculous!
Easy to use site, wonderful customer service and the shoes are of excellent quality and I love them!!!!
This was the worst shopping experience ever! I will never shop Billy Shoes again, nor do I recommend them. I am very petite. 43 kg. 5'3" in height. I wear a knee ankle foot orthotic (KAFO) due to a spinal cord tumor. Billy shoes advertise that their shoes fit AFO's. I ordered 2 pairs. Neither of them come anywhere near to getting my foot in. I sent them back for a refund only to get a reply that they can't be refunded because of a mark down in original price and that I will be getting a store credit. What am I suppose to do with a store credit in a store where their shoes don't fit me??? Horrible!
The shoes look cool. My kid liked them and they fit his wide feet. He wore them for two months and the shoes fell apart. The rubber peeled off halfway on one shoe and the zipper hardware broke off the other shoe. I contacted customer support and as they were past the 90 day period they will not refund or stand by their product. I live in Canada and payed $116 with shipping. Would not recommend purchasing as you will have to purchase different shoes in a couple months.
Bought these for my daughter with AFO’s. Thought they were brilliant so bought 4 pairs total. Her pair that we used for school have been worn to school a total of 38 days. There is no front rubber left to them, the pattern has worn off one, the inside of one has become threadbare. I am really and truly disappointed, i cant afford to pay for another pair for school if they don't even last past a half term. Hoping i can get use out the others as they are worn less and alternated. I feel back to square one with school shoes. Would NOT recommend!
Son wears one splint. Thought these were fantastic when we got them but after less than 12 weeks the zip broke off meaning they can’t be done up easily, and don’t stay done up. Returned shoes to UK supplier sensorysmart.co.uk but was told it was excessive wear and tear and so they wouldn’t do anything at all. Excessive wear and tear on a shoe of a child that uses a wheelchair most of the time?!
Zippers break constantly. Souls wear out within 3 months. Unfortunately not many options for a young child with afos. High price to pay for shoes that need to be replaced every 2-3 months! The company has been zero help in resolving issues because I'm Canadian and have to use Canadian retailers.
Billy footware not fit for purpose have purchase two pairs of boots both times the zip broke in the same place rendering the boots unwearable cheaply made But expensive to buy Unfortunately their British supplier customer service not up to standard Buyer beware
We were desperately searching for a pair of sneakers for my son who wears a new larger brace on one foot. We would try on shoes to fit the braced foot, but then the other was too big for the unbraced foot. It was frustrating and difficult but then we found Billy Footwear online. We ordered the differently sized pair of shoes and waited nervously to see if finally we could have a good pair of fitted shoes. Voila! The sneakers arrived within a week and FIT PERFECTLY!!! And we get emails from Billy Footwear with helpful suggestions to zip the shoe, clean them, etc. I can envision young adults with disabilities who struggle with shoe tying ordering these. The zipper is not visible, and it looks just like a tied sneaker but the laces are not really functional. We will always order from Billy Footwear!
