My right hearing aid is having issues and I called and left a message. I got call right back and the representative was very kind and patient. She determined that there is an internal issue with hearing aid and a new pair will be mailed out. She made the process very easy. Thank you for being a good listener and being patient, hard to find these days !!
This is the same lame response that Audien gives to every complaint filed with the BBB. Don’t take my word for it, go to the BBB and READ the complaints. In their response they said they could not find my account or order, They sure found my credit card within minutes and funny they found my address as the unwanted unit showed up in my mail box today. Their ads claim a 45 day money back guarantee, however they insist on a phone call, a VIDEO recorded call no less. Again do your research on this company. I don’t trust companies that KNOWINGLY sell a known Inferior product with a deceptive guaranteed 45 day money back warranty. I will make this clear, this is about the $99 cheap come ons and Audien Hearing business practices. This company is running a bait and switch scam with the $99 hearing aids. I went to their website and was going to order. Before the order was complete I had to navigate through multiple pages with very small print for no options. After I realized that they were intentionally selling an inferior product to hook you into upgrades I tried to cancel my order. I was notified my credit card was charged and shipped all within 10 minutes. Product has 45 days money back. ONLY if you agree to a phone call with one of their specialists which turns into an upgrade sales pitch. A check with BBB shows hundreds of complaints about the product being noisy, quit working within weeks, failure to honor warranty, refusal of refund, attempts to upgrade to more expensive unit instead of refund.
Do not like the tinny sound. Having to change the setting from 1-4, continuously .

I ordered the Audien Ion Pro hearing aids with the intention to evaluate them during the 45-day trial period to determine if they were suitable for me. Initially, I was vey pleased with the loud volume, but soon found that they could not be tuned to enable me to clearly hear conversation. Additionally, after a short time of use the sound would cut out. To explain more clearly, the sound would mute for a second or two then return. In time this problem worsened and when the aids would mute, the sound would not return. The aids had to be put in the charging case before sound returned. I had two video sessions with Audien hearing specialists, and although nothing meaningful was accomplished, I agreed to continue trying the aids. After futher use I subsequently eported the problems noted above to Audien and requested a return and refund. Instead of acknowledging my request, Audien wanted to schedule yet another video conference with a hearing specialist. At this point I submitted a claim to PayPal hoping for help in getting a refund. PayPal opened a formal case and logged information from me and Audien. I was eventually given authority to return the aids. The day I prepared to ship the aids back to Audien, the left port of the charging case stopped working. I made note of that in the PayPal case narrative. The case was settled in my favor in about a month. In summary, I must say in every respect that Audien made things difficult, and I doubt if I would have received a satisfactory settlement without the involvement of PayPal.
I bought an Audien Ion Pro and it's the worst piece of garbage I've ever purchased. One day the app hangs my Android phone. The next day the app can't find my devices. They want me to talk to a technician and even if he gets it working I'm sure it will fail again within a few days. I just want to return the device and get my money back. STAY AWAY FROM AUDIEN!!!
LJ was very patient with my bad hearing so we were able to figure out that the Atom 2 was just not going to be the answer to my hearing problems and I'm upgrading to the ION with her help. Everyone I've talked with at Audien has been very helpful and patient with my inability to hear them. I'm hoping the ION will be the answer to my problems. Thank you LJ.
They refused to let me cancel.my order and return my hearing aids 3 times and now haven't even replaced the broken ones I sent back more than a month ago.
I bought the Atom 2 reading reviews how great it was! Don't trust reviews! I can't use it! I get constant feedback no matter how I try to change the placement and fittings! The constant loud screeching if hurting my ears so much that I won't try anymore! When I did have a minute of hearing it sounds so unnatural like I was at the bottom of a trash can, which is where they belong!
I’ve had my aids only a week but I’m very happy with them !! I had to return the first aids sent me but the experience was great! Audien sent me a code to use and I took them to the P.O. No problem !! I received the new ones a few days later, as promised. Ty called me on a video conference and solved a couple of things I didn’t understand Great service and great aids.
I received what Audien wants you to believe are hearing aids, but are just amplifiers. I asked for my money back but the guy talked me into trying different amplifiers and I agreed but didn't receive the return labels and had to call back again so I finally got the labels to send them back. I never got the better amplifiers and had to call back again and I said just return my money but they refused because I returned them two days late, so they said they would send the upgraded ones and I would have them in three to five business days and I never received them so I called back again and was told I would receive a call back that same day and that didn't happen.I call back once again and said just return my money but was told they would send out the upgraded ones again. I will never do business with them again and hopefully I will finally receive the better amplifiers one day.If I had gotten the return labels to begin with they wouldn't have been returned a couple of days late.
7/30/25 I received the Atom Pro 2 on June 16, 2025. I have tried them on all the different settings with all the different ear fittings. All they did was amplify the background noises. I contacted Audien and had an online visit with their specialist. I sent them a copy of my hearing test and they agreed that the Atom Pro 2 was not the best solution. I have one day left to return them. Still no return label. Very poor customer service. 8/4/25 I called the number provided in Audien’s response and got an automated support system, not an actual person. Their “support” left no option but to schedule another appointment with a “hearing specialist”. It appears that I am going in circles trying to get my money back!
Honest review after 3 months of runarounds. I started trying to return my Audien hearing aids back in June, one day after I received them. I still have all the emails. It’s now September, and after multiple emails, calls, and even a “specialist appointment,” I still have never received simple return instructions. Instead, I kept getting cheery upsell emails (“don’t forget to change your wax guards!”) while the company stalled me past their 45-day return window. Once that window closed—thanks to their delays—they told me I was no longer eligible for a refund even though the "specialist" mentioned extending the window so I could become acclimated to the new hearing aids. A few weeks would suffice was mentioned. Classic bait, switch, and stall tactic. This isn’t customer service, it’s a scam disguised with friendly emojis and hollow apologies. Beware: once they have your money, their strategy is to run out the clock and leave you stuck. Save yourself the headache. Buy from a company that respects its customers, not one that games its own policies to trap you.
Over the years I have tried many brands of OTC hearing aids but the customer service of Audien Hearing consistently stands out from the competition .
9 yrs ago I bought the expensive doctor visit aids and was very disappointed, I still couldn’t understand words, often never connected to my phone, a lot of static, so I wasn’t expecting much from the Audien aids, but I was very surprised, they are actually better than the more expensive aids!
