Audien Atom Pro 2

I ordered the Audien Atom Pro 2 hearing aids for my husband and he was thrilled that the worked so well. However, the pair that we received didn't keep the charge as expected. We were even more thrilled that Audien was so helpful in quickly replacing them. I highly recommend their hearing aids. They are second to none and their customer service is outstanding.

Poor support service

I bought the ion pro hearing aides 2 weeks ago and the hearing was good. Suddenly the left hearing aid would not charge. Customer support said I would get a new hearing aid pair sent but only after they received the defective one. So I am looking at 2-3 weeks of not having any hearing aides. Poor customer service. They should overnight the new set and if you don’t return the old ones charge you again. When I complained about the wait the guy cut me off on the phone.

Most unhappy with my purchase.

Most unhappy with my purchase, which seemed defective when I received it. I suspect it had been used. They said I waited too long to return it, but see the review on this site from someone that says they ARE within the 45 day window, but that Audien is putting them off until they are out of warranty... They promised a $428 credit for a new set of hearing aids. when I called them about it, they knew nothing about the credit and only said: "oh, just ignore that offer." The only wanted to send me another set of the ones I had gotten. Then a guy called and said he would send a higher model--for $350! I suspected something weird, so I called Audien. They knew nothing about the call. They have a "mask and gun" method of doing business. I have told everyone I know about Audien--and they will tell everyone they know, and....

Stay Away

Horrible hearing aids sent $400 with in added protection plan for the atom Pro 2 They are awful no matter how your twist or turn them in you ear the noise feedback is terrible tried so many domes They sound like tin It’s like putting tiny speakers in your ears I suggest don’t buy them or you’ll regret losing your money

Audien Disappoit's Too

Approximately 2 months ago, I ordered online some hearing aids as I have been searching and not happy, so I decided I'd go with just a basic hearing aid but well known company. They were Audien's and as I ordered I was offered an upgrade from the $89.00 to $189.00 as what they were upgrading me to seemed fair. However, these promised hearing aids have never arrived, and I can't even get hold of anyone responsible for making this offer. I've been so disappointed with the hearing aid industry and this now just leaves me with the ones I initially ordered which have excessive feed back so they just sit in my drawer and I'm out almost $200.00. I think I've learning my lesson and folks will just have to suffer with me saying "what was that you said?" Thought this was a responsible and reputable company. Guess not!

I can hear much better now!

As I have aged, I’ve noticed it was getting harder to hear tv, other people, bird songs, etc. My wife purchased my first ever hearing aids—the Audien Atom Pro 2 for me in April 2025. It has opened up a whole new, wonderful world of sound for me. No,it’s not perfect, but it definitely is better…and cheaper than the $4500 pair my audiologist wanted to sell me. I recently had a question regarding cleaning of the device and contacted Audien support. They responded immediately in a professional, caring, and friendly manner. I am impressed with both the hearing aids and the support.

My mom ordered the in ear style hearing…

My mom ordered the in ear style hearing aids and the style does not work for her. She’s used to the behind the ear style. The return page in the FAQ on the website says to email them and they’ll send a return label however (no mention of having to make an appt), they’re forcing her to make a video appointment with a specialist so they can try to convince her to keep these. I don’t appreciate these tactics as they prey on senior citizens. It’s very much a bait and switch situation. Because of these tactics, we will not be purchasing any more of their products. You better believe I will be a part of that video appointment and they’re going to get an earful from me about this.

The customer service is absolutely…

The customer service is absolutely great. Professional respectful and fast responding to problems. The atom pro 2 seems to do the job except with a lot of people in a room but I try to work around it. Tv and just a few people seems to do good. My problem is I am now waiting on my fourth pair because either one or both just quit working. They have been great at replacing them and taking care of the shipping with out any problem. I went completely through all the trouble shooting with a young lady this morning who was fantastic. If this can’t be remedied with exchange for something better I will have to ask for a refund and find something different. When they worked I was pleased.

Audien deceptive dishonest company

Audien is using their inferior Atom One $99 hearing aid to lure elderly, low income and anyone needing hearing aids into their system. First a check at BBB shows 471 complaints. I went to their website and was ordering a pair. I went to check out and had to navigate through many pages of upgrade options. They already had my billing info and when I declined the last upgrade the site automatically processed the order without any option to cancel the order regardless of the 45 day money back guarantee. I immediately contacted Audien customer service nd requested the order be cancelled. I was refused. It appears that Audien requires you to participate in a recorded video conference before they will honor the money back guarantee. I refused to participate in the conference call and was refused the money back guarantee. After the fact I reviewed the BBB complaints they were about the inferior quality of sound, fit, early failures, inoperative on receipt and customer support refusing return. The customer support calls end up being hard sell upgrade calls. It is true that their are many good reviews for Audien products but they apply to their $400+ units. It is hard to put your trust in a company that deliberately sells an inferior product in an attempt to get you to purchase a more expensive product.

Don't trust them. The 45 day return policy is fake

The hearing aids just don't work well. Volume set at 20%, all you get is feedback. Maybe that's acceptable to someone who has never worn hearing aids, but I've been using them for the past 10+ years. I wanted to try audien, because of the adds I've seen on TV. They claim to have a 45 day return policy. Not true. When you request to return the product, they tell you to get 1 on 1 tutoring. Like I said, I've been wearing hearing aids for a long time, and getting schreaching at 20% volume is not normal. I know how to fit them, and use them. It appears they drag their feet until the 45 day return window is closed. Not a company to deal with regardless of the low cost. Their web page states "45-day money back guarantee 100% satisfaction guaranteed or you can easily return it, hassle-free!" I did get a return authorization on 11/12/2025. I sent the hearing aids back, but did not get a refund. I got an email from audien today telling me "We’ve received your return—thank you! Our team will begin the inspection process, which typically takes 2–3 business days. This allows us to confirm that all items were returned in full and are in working condition." If I actually get a refund, I'll post again letting you know. I'll also post how many calls and emails I had to make in order to get my refund. Ok, here we go. I got an email from audien stating that "your order has been refunded" I paid $389, and the amount they claim was refunded is $379.80. You may wonder what happened to the $9.20. Just a reminder, NOTHING has been sent back to my credit card. NOT ONE CENT. However, their email states Total $389.00 USD Total paid today $9.20 Mastercard refund $379.80 I don't know who they paid "today", but it was not me. Just more shenanigans. As I stated earlier, I'll keep updating this post if I ever get a refund. I'm doubtful. It's friday 11/21. No refund, no explanation of "Paid today." This is a criminal enterprise. Selling things that don't work, promising a "hassle free return" then keeping your money and the hearing aids that you returned. I'll keep you posted.

Return Issues

The sale process was great but the product not so great. Once I tried them the left ear unit was ok but the right ear unit did not nothing but screech. I tried all the different fittings but none of them worked. I contacted customer service to request a return and refund, but was told to try all the different fittings which I did again and with the same bad result. Contacted them again for a refund and was told they would have specialist contact me. Never heard from anyone. Again, I requested a refund, but have never beard anything back

Good customer service; good ION Series.

I appreciate the patience and helpfulness of your staff. They have been most helpful and responsive in resolving my problem. Let me say this about your hearing aids. Regardless of my recent problem (which is being resolved), I really like your ION Series. They are comfortable, effective, fit well over my ears, and have virtually no feedback whatsoever. I like the fact that they have an off/on switch and easily adjustable volume & mode buttons. I do NOT like your ATOM Series at all. They are subject to frequent feedback and fall out of my ears. Keep up the good work on your IONs.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

LJ was very pleasant and was able to assist me with my questions regarding my 20 minute session. We were disconnected, no fault of hers, she called me back and even apologized. I would give her 10 stars if I could. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!👍

Bait & Switch/poor customer service

I ordered these devices and nowhere in the order process, the confirmation email, nor my status check did it say they weren’t “new”. When they arrived, there was a sticker on them that read “AUDIEN REBUILT”. To further frustrate me, only one of them would produce any tones whatsoever. The other one was truly dead. I charged the charger, as per the instructions. I charged the devices, as per the instructions - neither device worked. I initiated a return, only to be told that I needed to do a video call - which I did. They tried to convince me that they could send me an upgraded set at no additional cost, even after I told them that I did not wish to have a product from a business that dealt in “bait and switch” practices. They finally agreed to email me the return label, which after 3 days I still don’t have! I would not trust them with my business.
