Habe über Booking.com bei carhire ein Auto angemietet. Einen VW T-Cross oder ähnlich. Als ich dann das Auto entgegen nehmen wollte, hiess es VW T -Cross ist nicht bei denen im Sortiment. Warum bitte wird damit geworben und dann am Ende heißt es, das Fahrzeug gibt es garnicht bei uns. Auch hatte ich Versicherung ohne SB gebucht, es stellte sich raus das, dass auch eine finte war. Mir wurde von der Kreditkarte 1800 Euro als Sicherheit, für eventuelle Schäden abgebucht.

Picking up car - bad experience

Hatte explizit ein Hybridfahrzeug gebucht, deswegen extra noch einmal nachgefragt und eine eindeutige Zusocherung darüber bekommen, aber dann einen Benziner bekommen. Vor Ort hat sich der Vermiter geweigert, eine Lösung zu finden. Meine Beschwerde im Nachhinein bei Argus war ein kafkaeskes Erlebnis. Meine extra klar und einfach formulierten Emails wurden entweder nicht gelesen oder die Mitarbeiter waren unfähig, einfachste Sachverhalte zu verstehen. Die Antworzen von Argus waren absurd und hatten teilweise nicht das geringste mit meinem Fall zu tun. Letztendlich hat soch Argus geweigert, irgendwie auf das Problem einzugehen. Fazit: Wenn etwad schief läuft, ist man bei Argus aufgeschmissen.

After a seamless check in I was to receive a code by text to locate my car . No code was received but I was told to just go to the car collection area and a member off staff would “help” . On arrival to collection area extremely hot and crowded with irate customers and no cars . After an hour I had to agree to take another type of car as they had none of the type I ordered a manual over automatic . The staff member commented that this happened every day . Not good enough !

All went smoothly. Great staff. Good car, of the size we paid for and with good air con. NB when picking up the car at Kefalonia airport, the office is upstairs and is branded Yours / Idea not Argus. It is just outside the airport gate on the left, so very handy. Would recommend as car hire often a stressful start and end to a holiday - but not this time!

Easy to book with Argus and good price. Didn't like Buick car provided by Avis would have preferred Toyota Rav 4 which was car advertised. The Buick had no FM radio and small trunk space for our large bags.
