Apex Services Reviews

A very professional service, replacing fencing and a gate. The work was done to a high standard with great attention to detail and everything left clean and tidy at the end. I would definitely use again and recommend without hesitation. 10/10!

We called in Apex to replace our old flat roof on our ground floor extension. They quoted a good price and were very clear about what was needed and what they intended to do. The fitter was great, really knew his stuff and did a very neat job using quality materials. I'd feel 100% confident in employing Apex again. The one minor criticism is that the company needs to tighten up on communications post-quote and pre-job completion to give a clearer idea of when the work is to be done.

The whole Apex Services team were totally professional throughout the entire process. Friendly and knowledgeable, the building team completed the work on time and to a very high standard. I would highly recommend them and will be my go to company for any future building/ home improvement work.

I called APEX reference problems with my roof and immediately felt comfortable with the services on the phone. A few days later I had a highly professional team of workers at my house and the jobs were repaired. A highly efficient and professional team I would gladly recommend them.

Got in touch with Apex as I knew Adam from previous work. My jobs were a mixture, windows, cuboards removed internally & small amount of building work It was done on 2 seperate days & Victoria kept me updated all of the time. Jeff & Derek were very good & Jeff was great with Henry the hoover. No mess I would certainly recommend Apex. 5 stars

Extremely pleased with the experience from my initial call to Apex to completion. The person who I spoke to initially was friendly and efficient keeping me updated throughout. Adam that came around to discuss what I wanted was professional and more importantly trusting. The team that carried out the work were great too so I can only thank you all for the experience and a job well done.

Not the cheapest but by far the best builders I have worked with. I recently contracted Apex to demolish part of my existing house and then extend to the sides and the rear and also remodel the interior. I was impressed from the first visit when Adam came out to talk through the project, from that point on it was clear the whole organisation was professional and although Apex were one of the highest of the 4 quotes I received they were clearly the best suited for the size of the project. I have been impressed at every stage of the project and even when COVID affected suppliers the team in the office came up with a solution to avoid delays and keep everything running on schedule. Geoff (Kiwi) and Adam managed the project very well and all everyone involved worked hard to deliver on time and to a very high standard. They handled everything including all sub-contractors and local planning committee who oversee all building works on the estate. If you have the budget and want the very best finish then I would highly recommend Apex.

this is a trustworthy and friendly company, who care aobut their work; would definitely use again.

Summary: Great quality, excellent communication and guaranteed certainty of price are three things that make the service from Apex stand out from the crowd. If you want a detailed quote with clarity of the cost of your project and a finished quality product that reflects that quote, then choose Apex. Below is more detailed information on our experience if you are considering appointing Apex. We liked them that much that we are hoping to appoint them to carry out works to our main bathroom in early 2021. Our core team: Adam, Geoff (Kiwi), Jeff (2), Ricky and Dylan. Project: new kitchen (moved to room that was previously a dining room), new downstairs shower, toilet and separate utility room (in the old kitchen). New wall and trellis panelling to backyard. Timescales: November 2020 - December 2020 (6 weeks). Handful of finishing touches completed in January 2021 due to external suppliers issues with Covid-19. Detailed review: We contacted Adam through the Apex Facebook page after seeing an advert pop up when looking for a builder to carry out a remodelling of our downstairs space in a 3 floor Victorian terrace in a Northumberland village. We sourced quotes from a number of different builders and although Apex were not the cheapest; they were the best value for money and we are very glad we chose them. We've picked out five areas were we thought Apex excelled: 1. Clarity of scope: the quote provided was thorough and detailed. There was no ambiguity as to what was included in the works (and importantly also what was not included in the initial price as we were sourcing the kitchen and a few other bits ourselves). 2. Communication: Adam (Operations Manager), Paul (Finance Director) and Kiwi (Builder) were available when needed and responded to any queries promptly. They also accommodated any changes in scope and clearly identified the impact of such changes (if any) on the cost so that we could make informed decisions. 3. Committed and thoughtful: we agreed an aggressive project timescale to have the works completed before Christmas whilst also allowing us to continue living in the property; Apex started early and finished late when asked to ensure the timescales were met. It was, of course, dirty and dusty during the works but the Apex team really tried to mitigate the impact of this by planning and preventing mess escaping from the worksite. 4. Quality: The standard of the work is excellent. From the work carried out by Apex to the Subcontractors they used; all delivered top quality products and services. Apex used the following subcontractors for specialist input all of whom were efficient, produced top quality work and above all were a pleasure to deal with: - Dan at Cullercoats Plumbing and Heating ( plumbing works, new boiler, new radiators, new washing machine etc.) - Jack at Hawcroft Access Plastering (plastering of new walls and ceiling throughout) - Paul at P & L Electrical Limited (new electrical board, new lighting throughout, underfloor heating and all kitchen appliances) - Dave Houghton - decorating and painting - Rupert at Vaughn Chimney Services (integrated chimney flue extractor fan for ovens placed in original chimney breast) 5. Aftercare: all too often once a tradesperson completes (or almost completes your job) then you lose that quality of service. Apex have remained in contact following completion and have helped us place orders for additional items through their suppliers and contacts. They have been clear and honest with fee arrangements and payments and we have had no issues during or after the project. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

Apex recently converted our garage. The work they have done is to an excellent standard and although there were a few Covid related challenges, which slightly delayed the work, Adam and the team communicated this at every stage and kept us fully updated. We would recommend Apex very highly to anyone considering getting any work done in the future.

The team did a fantastic job of replacing the floor in my living room & some electrical work. The team left the flat clean after each day, and were proactive communicators. The job was fairly priced.

I am more than impressed at the efficient way Adam and his team transformed my kitchen. Excellent work and expert teaching to the younger lads who were learning their trade. Adam is very approachable and will go to the end of the earth to provide exactly what you ask for. I would absolutely use them again.

Professional, friendly and helpful. Apex provided a competitive quotation, arrived promptly and carried out the work to a very high standard. They also completed the work early. I have since asked them to carry out further works.

We have used Apex across our portfolio for some time now and they are superb. Responsive ✅ Quality of work ✅ Value for money ✅ Would highly recommend

I am over the moon with the service from Apex from, contacting them to having our new windows fitted the service was amazing. The fitters installed our new windows perfectly and left everything really tidy after. Will definitely use them again.

Adam and Geoff were excellent, they completed a tidy job on time and on budget, I will be using them again and have already recommended them to family and friends..

Very Professional outfit. Came and quoted a reasonable rate, then did the job on time as per spec, with no messing about like I've had from other trades. Delivered a fantastic finish. Absolutely brilliant service. I will be directly recommending Apex to all my friends and family
