Don't see the value. It seems like it's more like an ad to purchase more things and the fee doesn't provide a lot of value to the member.

I have never had any problems with Teachers Plus and I am thankful for the extra content reserved for teachers.

best Yoga Journal Teachers Plus

I called customer service to ask why I was only billed $194 for the insurance rather than $220 for the full membership and why I have not received any emails giving me any more info ... I was told I do not even have an account, she wasn’t sure and to call back when the charge clears on my credit card. So I have no idea if I have coverage or what is going on. I can log into my account she claimed I do not have. I hope someone can actually help me thenext time I call. In the meantime I’m teaching today and I don’t know if I have insurance. I probably should have gone with another insurance.

I bought part-time yoga teacher insurance thru YJ Teachers Plus and it was an excellent sale price that day and my representative was really informative, patient and genuine.

I have just signed on with Teachers Plus. The customer service department has been extremely helpful and quick to respond with all of my questions or requests to amend my policy.

Excellent and great training

I have had this insurance for years. The staff is very professional, the site is easy to navigate with all your information in one place. Very easy to renew your policy.

I do believe there is good content at this site but I find account navigation very frustrating. I know I’ve been a member of YJTP but can’t determine if I still am, what my history has been as a member or how to renew Teacher’s Plus membership without adding a second Yoga Journal Magazine subscription. I gave up on the insurance part of it.

About 4-5 years back I was a new teacher and knew I needed insurance and oeople guided me here. I was surprised with the ease of the process and the price. I have been a member since. Thank you

As for the classes offered, I find the free downloads to be little more than teasers to get us to purchase the full course it basically “introduces” and I cannot afford YJ fees for continuing education on top of other places I choose to learn from. Most yoga instructors don’t make a lot of money contrary to the image presented by the yoga community and we have other expenses on top of CE. I subscribe to a number of organizations that send emails relevant to my interests. As a yoga instructor I’ve found a number of resources that resonate with the direction of my teaching. From time to time I must reevaluate the emails I receive and how much I utilize them. I find I open Yoga Journal emails least of them. I truly value YJ’s information. In fact when I’m researching something specific they’re my go to. I find YJ to be very credible and their articles are well written and easy to understand. I would like to receive subscriptions from YJ less frequently. My inbox is overwhelmed.
