hired a guy who could mow my lawn same day, his profile said that he just loves helping people and is available last minute. Well after I booked him, I was supposed to be contacted by him within the first hour. I sent him photos confirming all of the details I had already listed. And I heard nothing back for two hours, and then he canceled. hired another dude for a ridiculously high price, and he came out and did a very half ass job, didn’t even complete the entire scope of work that we agreed upon. Did an hour of work, and I still got charged for two hours. Even though the job wasn’t complete. I feel like Taskrabbit does not hold people to their word, and there are a lot of people out there who are not fully vetted or are taking advantage of people. I loved the idea of Taskrabbit, but I will never use it again because this has just been the biggest disappointment. I will be contacting professionals to finish the job that was left undone

He was on time , very courteous and efficient .. Amazed at how quickly he assembled the Ikea desk! Would ask for him a gain in a heartbeat!

That charge after the original charge is highway robbery. I'll hire more workers privately.

There should be a refund for services not performed up to the standards presented. I believed I was scammed and the job was not throughly completed.

The young man was very efficient, cleaned up and was very personable. But he was the third person scheduled.the other 2 cancelled.

The booking was made with a 'tasker' Paul of LONDON. This person liaises with the METROPOLITAN POLICE IN LONDON and shares customer (my own, for example) information back to the police 'handlers'. This is likely a FREEMASON ARRANGEMENT. I cancelled.. First time user.Task RABBIT IN LONDON..This person connected to Metropolitan Police? & means confidentiality and privacy of anyone contacting... won't exist

Avoid at all costs! I purchased an Ikea closet system and paid for installation -- Ikea uses Taskrabbit. I scheduled the task but need to reschedule the installation. I was unable to do this on line, so called the customer service number. after a long wait, I was put in contact with "Carl". He refused to assist me, told me I was the problem, and told me to call Ikea.

TaskRabbit charges a 33% fee on top which is absolutely ridiculous.

I have engaged Task Rabbit for several projects. Each “tasked” has been professional, efficient and courteous.

Fred was a very nice guy. Very thoroughly. He was quick and very knowledgeable. The only thing is I just wish he would clean as he goes even though I was keeping up with the cleaning, I expected the person to clean up as they go, but overall, he was very good and I would book him for my next job that I may have available.

Good work. He provided service in a timely fashion.

Jonathan although he reached out to advise he was running late showed up 2 hrs late. Then he failed to install the screws to the A/C in the window. I had to do it. Then he was suppose to take the old unit away and he failed to do that too. Since the a/c was still working fine I offered it to him for free and he accepted and advised he would come back to get it. Failure to do that as well. How do you leave a senior citizen who just had double arm surgery stuck with an a/c inside thier apt when the job entailed installing a new a/c and removal of the old one from the home!!! I now have to find someone else and pay them to remove the old a/c from my home. Jonathan was a failure in all aspects.
