This company is shocking

This company is shocking 2 months, no installation, no sorry or anything . In May they said they would connect the first part then a week later they would need someone to be at home for the final install. I booked time off work then they cancelled said no line in sight, I had to contact them to find out what was happening. They said it wasn’t them who fit it but would get back to me. Eventually they said they would send a supervisor out to assess the problem, never heard anymore, I contacted squirrel once again they said the same again and they would find out from ms3 the cable company. Weeks after, many emails later they told us to chat to our neighbours to see if they could span a cable across their yards, so I went round to see them. All said not a problem. I contacted squirrel to let them know, weeks later they gave me another date for installation, once again they never turned up. I contacted squirrel again who didn’t believe me , they then told me to be at home for the final fit. (which I booked time off work) but they never turned up at all . Got no response from squirrel again, we are now mid July so I cancelled it. Had no sorry or anything, they are a joke!!

Very quick installation

So far so good, we had broadband installed 2 weeks ago , the instalation was very quick, the router arrived the day after and was very easy to set up , although we haven't been able to use it thoroughly as we haven't moved in yet , the service seem ok so far .

Great service from start to finish

Engineer was on time. Very friendly lad. Explained everything we needed to know. Router came and easy to connect. Up and running straight away. No problems at all.

99% including connection

One star dropped because they didn't advise their would be two install appointments required. Luckily we were in. The appointment itself was great and no other problems with order, set up or install

Best ISP i've ever had

Throughout the years i've been with Tiscali, TalkTalk, BT and all have had issues ranging from poor speeds to extortionate pricing. BT, my last ISP was charging £49 a month for 100Mbps download and around 20Mbps upload. (Apprently this was the highest speed I could get). Squirrel are a breath of fresh air, £28 a month for 872Mbps download and 899Mbps upload. It really is a no brainer to switch over. Having said this we did have an issue with Full Fibre not booking the correct day to install in civil works but a quick message to Squirrel got this sorted out in a timely manner. At time of writing i've just had my second monthly bill and not once had unexplained downtime.

Better than all the big guns

Always happy to help and very useful at doing so. Really is the best customer service of any isp i have ever been with and the service itself is reliable and sturdy.

Compared to my previous supplier

Compared to my previous supplier, Squirrel were easy to contact by phone and the first agent was able to help, without being passed around. First impressions cannot fault customer service. Only complaint the router could be much better, but used my own router which is giving me far better speeds especially at distances over 2ft away, but the service and overall cost from squirrel is well worth upgrading the router, I use the erro 6 pro that gives excellent speeds all over the house without the need for a second mesh router.

Can't fault this company

Can't fault this company. Swift trouble free switch over. Great price with no sneaky increases over two years Reply from tech support within 24 hours. Such a refreshing change from KCOMs appalling service.
